Limited in mind, limited in body, ruler of our own domain.
Despite our physical and mental limitations, we try to control everything around us as if we are in charge.

Claim false authority, like we're the ones who rule and reign.
We exert authority we don't have, thinking we're in control when in reality we have little power over our lives.

The mentality of the majority is more than metaphorically morphing into a misinformed form of who we were born to be.
The mindset of most people is changing into a misinformed view of humanity that does not reflect our true nature as created beings.

Torn between, blind perception and divine reality.
We are conflicted between our lack of understanding and reality that transcends our limited perception.

Torn at the seams, our dreams are built on a faulty foundation of fallacy.
Our aspirations and goals are flawed because they are based on false assumptions and wrong beliefs.

This will be our fatality, it's simply a formality.
Our failure due to ignorance and misguidance is inevitable and will lead to our downfall.

See the casualties of war laid on the floor of the battle scene.
We see the effects of our misguided actions and ignorance in the damage and harm we cause to ourselves and others.

We worship how we feel, we don't worship who we should.
We prioritize our desires and emotions over what truly deserves our worship and devotion.

Yeah we got it bad, and if God calls it bad we call it good.
We are so entrenched in our wrong ways that even if God declares them bad, we still insist on calling them good.

We covet what others have, grab whatever we can, whatever we want, we think it belongs in the palm of our hands, going along with a song and a dance.
We are consumed with envy, greed, and selfishness, relentlessly pursuing whatever we desire without regard for others, and all while pretending everything is fine and dandy.

Worshipping idols to fulfill our entitlement issues.
We worship things that satisfy our sense of entitlement, giving us a false sense of deserving things that we don't really need or deserve.

Addicted to the feeling we get when we get what we want so we pick and we choose.
We are addicted to the rush we feel when we get what we desire, so we become overly selective and picky about everything we do and pursue.

Even the air we breath is a gift we receive that we think we're entitled to.
We take for granted even the basic things that sustain our life, wrongly assuming that we are entitled to them rather than seeing them as gifts from a gracious provider.

They say you get what you deserve so we work hard to earn it.
We believe in the false notion that we get what we deserve, so we work tirelessly to earn what we think we are entitled to instead of accepting what we are given.

Earn as much as we can to determine our self-worth and purpose.
We work hard to earn as much as possible in life, basing our self-worth and purpose on our material success and possessions.

Identified by what we buy, it's a sad state of affairs.
We define ourselves and others by what we possess and consume, which is a sad reflection of our priorities and values as human beings.

And when we die we lose it all and just lay there, naked and bare.
No matter how much we accumulate in life, we cannot take it with us when we die, and all we are left with is a bare and vulnerable lifeless body.

But none of this stuff can cover us, no it never was enough for us.
All the things we accumulate in life cannot save us or protect us from life's harsh realities and the ultimate end of death.

Nothing we can work for to obtain can wash away the stain.
No amount of effort or achievement can erase the stain of sin and guilt that tarnishes our soul and burdens our conscience.

The only thing we're entitled to is judgment for the lives we led.
We are entitled only to face the consequences of our actions and choices in life and the judgment they merit.

There's nothing we can hide behind, in the end we need grace instead.
We cannot evade or hide from the judgment and consequences we face, but we can seek and rely on divine grace and mercy as our only hope and rescue.

We spend a lifetime trying to find love in anything and everything this life has to offer it's true.
We spend our entire lives searching for love and fulfillment in all that life offers, but we often come up empty and dissatisfied.

And often times we trade the temporal satisfaction for the things the genuine believer is entitled to.
We often sacrifice the fleeting pleasures of life for the things that a true believer in God is truly entitled to and attain in fullness.

I'm convinced that it's because they don't understand that there exists an order of benefits of redemption that's applied to his bride.
People don't appreciate what God offers his followers because they don't grasp the order and value of the benefits of redemption available to his chosen people.

And the basis of his choice in election was for God alone to decide.
God's decision to choose and elect his followers is based solely on his own will and purpose, not on human merit or preference.

And it is not like an "invitation" that one might accept or reject, but rather its the effectual calling drawing to Himself His elect.
God's call to his chosen ones is not a mere invitation that can be declined, but a powerful and irresistible drawing and attraction of those he calls to himself.

Regenerating and enabling us to respond in faith toward Christ.
God's call also includes the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit that enables and empowers his people to respond with faith to Christ.

Giving us the gift of repentance and revealing the nature of His sacrifice.
As part of his call, God also grants us the gift of repentance, that shows us the true nature of Christ's sacrifice and our need for it.

Binding us with a true intellectual realization of our sinful condition.
Through his call and grace, God also gives us a deep and true awareness of our sinful state and our utter need for his mercy and forgiveness.

Converting us and turning us from our previous malicious disposition.
God's grace also transforms and changes us from our previous hateful and selfish nature into people of love and compassion.

Ultimately leading to a legal declaration by God that we've been made right in his sight.
God's grace culminates in a legal declaration of righteousness that proclaims his chosen ones as perfectly righteous in his sight, free from condemnation and guilt.

Justification being credited to us on the basis of the righteousness of Christ.
This legal declaration of righteousness is based on the perfect righteousness of Christ himself, credited to us as his followers and heirs.

Adopted to be the children of God and grafted into fellowship.
As part of this grace, we are also adopted as God's children and joined into a community of believers who share in his love and grace.

Being bound together by the blood of Christ into a common membership.
Our common bond as believers is the blood of Christ, which unites us all into a shared identity and purpose.

Sanctified by the spirit given gradual growth in holiness.
God's grace also sanctifies and sets us apart for his service, enabling us to grow in holiness and obedience to his commands over time.

Increasing in our thinking and behaving in a ways that shows that were chosen.
As we grow in grace, we also manifest the signs of our chosen status by our attitudes, behaviors, and character that reflect God's grace and love.

And all the while being preserved and upheld according to his sovereign providence.
Despite our limitations and struggles, God's grace continually preserves and sustains us according to his sovereign will and plan, ensuring our ultimate success and glory.

Giving us confidence that he will carry us to completion just like he promised.
As we trust in God's grace and follow him faithfully, we have the assurance and hope that he will complete the work he started in us and bring us to ultimate glory and fulfillment, just as he promised.
