Me guardo tu recuerdo
Como el mejor secreto
Que dulce fue tenerte dentro
Hay un trozo de luz
En esta oscuridad
Para prestarme calma
El tiempo todo calma
La tempestad y la calma
El tiempo todo calma
La tempestad y la calma
Siempre me quedará
La voz suave del mar
Volver a respirar
La lluvia que caerá
Sobre este cuerpo y mojará
La flor que crece en mí
Y volver a reír
Y volver a reír
Siempre me quedará
La voz suave del mar
Volver a respirar la lluvia que caerá
Sobre este cuerpo y mojará
La flor que crece en mí
Y volver a reír
Y volver a reír
Y cada día un instante
Volveré a pensar en ti
"Siempre Me Quedará" by Bebe is a heart-wrenching song that explores the pain of lost love and the hope for healing. The song's opening lines express the shattered state of the singer, as she communicates the feeling that her bones and being have been crushed into a million pieces. She speaks of how her life's patterns have crumbled, even when everything had seemed to be perfect, leaving her to grapple with a weighty mind and body that she compares to becoming a torrential river. Despite the melody being melancholic, Bebe uses the metaphor of a river to convey movement and the possibility of healing.
As the song progresses, the singer thinks of the person she loves and longs to return to the safety that their love once represented. But now that they're gone, her love has become a secret to carry and cherish for herself. She is cautious not to open her eyes all at once, afraid that she will see them near her. Even when she is in darkness, she sees a glimmer of light that is a calming force that will bring her peace because she knows that time heals all wounds.
The chorus highlights the hope that the future can bring. She sings about the soothing sound of the ocean, the rain that falls to refresh, and the laughter that fills the soul. Bebe's use of nature as a source of comfort in the chorus is symbolic, as the world is vast, and nature heals itself. She asserts that these powerful aspects of nature and the changing days will return her to her happy moments and make her think of her lover again.
Overall, the song captures the complexities of love, especially when it ends painfully. It talks about the sense of loss and emptiness that one feels due to the breakage of a beautiful love story. While still, the song revolves around the idea that while love may end, the memories, hope, and possibility of a new beginning remain.

Cómo decir que me parte en mil
I'm struggling to express how I'm feeling completely shattered
Las esquinitas de mis huesos
Even the smallest parts of me are affected
My whole life has been turned upside down
Ahora que todo era perfecto
Just when everything seemed to be going so well
Y algo más que eso
Even better than I could have imagined
Me sorbiste el seso
You took over my mind completely
Y me desciende el peso
I feel a heavy weight pulling me down
De este cuerpecito mío
All of this is taking a toll on my physical self
Que se ha convertido en río
I feel overwhelmed and lost, like a river flowing uncontrollably
Me cuesta abrir los ojos
I'm finding it hard to face reality
Y lo hago poco a poco
I'm taking it one step at a time
No sea que aún te encuentre cerca
I'm afraid of running into you again
Me guardo tu recuerdo
I hold onto memories of you
Como el mejor secreto
As if it's my most precious possession
Que dulce fue tenerte dentro
How sweet it was to have had you in my life
Hay un trozo de luz
There's a glimmer of hope
En esta oscuridad
Even in the darkest times
Para prestarme calma
To give me peace of mind
El tiempo todo calma
Time heals all wounds
La tempestad y la calma
No matter the storm or the calm
Siempre me quedará
I'll always have
La voz suave del mar
The gentle sound of the sea
Volver a respirar
To breathe freely again
La lluvia que caerá
The rain that will fall
Sobre este cuerpo y mojará
It will soak my body
La flor que crece en mí
The flower that grows within me
Y volver a reír
And to laugh again
Y cada día un instante
And every day, for a moment
Volveré a pensar en ti
I'll think of you again
In taking a deep breath and feeling the rain
