Last Hurrah
Bebe Rexha Lyrics

I'm done with the drinking, I'm done with the smoking
I'm done with the playing, I'm done with the joking
I'm done with the ladies, I'm done with the fellas
Just sayin' (yeah)
Farewell tequila, so long margarita
And lady sativa, I hate to leave ya
Don't want the pressure, I don't need a lecture
No, thank you, honey, God bless ya

I know I've said it all before (said it all before)
But it won't hurt to do it all once more

This is my last hurrah, once I start
I ain't gon' stop 'til I go too far
Last hurrah and it's okay
Maybe tomorrow I won't feel this pain
Last hurrah
Last hurrah

I'm done with the heartache, I'm done with the demons
Can't wait to be normal, right after this weekend
I'm done with the drama, I'm fixing my karma
One more night of pure nirvana

I know I've said it all before
But it won't hurt to do it all once more

This is my last hurrah, once I start
I ain't gon' stop 'til I go too far
Last hurrah and it's okay
Maybe tomorrow I won't feel this pain
Last hurrah
Last hurrah

Maybe I'll never change
But I'm still glad I came
Try again another day
But for now

This is my last hurrah, once I start
I ain't gon' stop 'til I go too far
Last hurrah and it's okay
Maybe tomorrow I won't feel this pain
Last hurrah
Last hurrah

I’m done with the drinking
I’m done with the smoking
I’m done with the playing
I’m done with the joking
I’m done with the ladies
I’m done with the fellas
Just saying...

Farewell, tequila
So long, margarita
And Lady Sativa
I hate to leave ya
Don’t want the pressure
I don’t need a lecture
No thank you honey god bless ya

I know I’ve said it all before
But it won’t hurt to do it all once more

This is my last hurrah!
Once I start
I ain’t gonna stop till I go too far!
Last hurrah!
And it’s okay
Maybe tomorrow I won’t feel this pain

Last hurrah!
Last hurrah!

I’m done with the heartache

I'm done with depression
I'm done with anxiety
I'm done with overthinking
I'm done with crying
I'm done with sadness
I'm done with laziness
I'm done with being backstabbed
Can't wait to be happy
Can't to be alive
Can't wait to be cheerful
Can't wait to be proud

Me encanta la canción 😍😍

Ya terminé con la bebida
Ya terminé con el fumar
Ya terminé con la jugada
Ya terminé con las bromas
Ya terminé con las damas
Ya terminé con los muchachos
Sólo decía

Adiós, tequila
Adiós, Margarita
Y Lady Sativa
Odio dejarte

Tal vez nunca voy a cambiar

The music video shows how Bebe transforms from innocence to evil, a biblical rererence while the lyrics tell a story of having her last time doing her "hurrah" with alcohol and drugs. The opening scene is Bebe represented as angel. This is symbolism for purity or innocence, and with the lyrics "I'm done with the drinking, I'm done with the smoking" correlating to the imagery. "I'm done with the fellas" shows a woman and a jeweled person, showing the men were wealthy. When Bebe is standing in front of a opening door to a red stairway, it may be reference to the stairway of heaven with a twist by sinning at the top of the staircase instead of purity, which the next scenes were clips of partying.

With some of her song titles being shown quickly throughout the video, it could be a time marker of her music career with the release of the songs, with some being singles. It is a nice touch if this was the case.

At 1:06, she searches "how to slay" with another search being "is her butt real". This could be tackling society's likeness to surgically enhance people's appearance to feel better about themselves

1:26 shows Bebe seducing a priest, symbolizing her innocent appearance yet evil and sinful from within, with a small clip of a knife, a possible reference to suicide and its impact on society. The following scene being nuns drinking while the one following is a clip of (possibly) Bebe biting a cherry, in other words "popping a cherry", a message stating she would take someone's virginity on her "last hurrah". Next, Bebe is shown with a halo and thorns and continues to symbolize her innocence while a neon outline of a woman is displayed in the back, another symbol of innocence on the surface while her inside nature (in this case the background) is sinful.

She thens follows up with "Maybe I'll never change, but I'm glad that I came" shows Bebe being angelic as something she once was and following the lyrics of not returning to the once-pure self, before the partying and drinking, but she is bitter sweet about it as she accepts being used to the lifestyle she is trying to leave.

The lasr scenes shows exaggerated forms of her lifestyle, with her one-sided reflection surrounding by a burning frame, an inference to losing her innocence with no good left. The standout clip at the ending was a man (possibly overdosing) in a bathtub on one end while a jeweled woman smokes at the other end, symbolizing what was once harming the girl from the beginning scene is now being the harmed one.

This is my take on the music video with the lyrics alongside, I may be wrong on some parts, and want to know anything that wasn't mentioned or has more meanings.

'Last Hurrah' is about vices. We all have them. It’s not just about smoking or drinking, it’s about love, food or any of our bad habits. It’s our final anthem to all our vices as we seek a new tomorrow and a better us. And then do it all again tomorrow.
