Anybody ready to move
Some one said to me I can't take this economy
I've got a family and everybody's counting on me
Well looking at you there's something I don't see
I know you've issues but you don't seem to worry
Well this peace that no one understands but me
And I'm living today because I found a way to be good
with what happens to me
[Chorus]
I got to find a reason to dance
I'm talking joy, joy, joy
Said I got to find a reason to dance
I'm talking joy, joy, joy
Someone said to me how can I smile
When people don't have food to eat
And does He even care
I feel so bad, so bad for all the people
Who don't believe that he's always there
To give us peace when don't understand somethings
And I'm living today because I found to be good with what happens to me
Oh I got find a reason to dance
I'm talking joy, joy, joy
I got find a reason to dance
I'm talking joy, joy, joy
Ku-rahm-nee ah cus seenda
Ku-rahm nee ah cus seenda
I gotta reason
I found a reason to dance
Yeah yeah
Well I gotta reason
I found a reason to dance yeah yeah
I got to find
[Chorus]
The song, The Dance, by Dave Koz, is a nostalgic and reflective tribute to a past love. The song begins by reminiscing about a dance shared beneath the starry sky that felt like everything in the world was just right. However, the joy of the moment was temporary, and the love eventually ended. The singer expresses gratitude for not knowing beforehand that the love would eventually come to an end because he would have missed out on the dance.
The second verse speaks of how the love felt like everything to him, and he felt like a king. However, had he known how the relationship would end, he might have changed everything that led to that point. In the end, he appreciates that life is better left to chance, even though it might bring pain.
The song's lyrics capture the essence of life's unpredictability and the importance of cherishing moments of joy and happiness, even though they might be temporary. The singer's reflective tone and the slow, soothing pace of the music allow the listener to connect with the emotions conveyed by the song's lyrics.

Looking back on the memory of
Reflecting on a past event
The dance we shared beneath the stars above
A romantic moment that took place under the stars
For a moment all the world was right
Everything was perfect for a brief instance
How could I have known you'd ever say goodbye
Not able to foresee the future and that someone would leave
And now I'm glad I didn't know
Grateful for not knowing what was to come
The way it all would end the way it all would go
The unknown outcome of the situation
Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
It's better to let life happen and experience the pain than to miss out on it entirely
But I'd have to miss the dance
The experience, both good and bad, is worth having
Holding you I held everything
Feeling complete and content in one's embrace
For a moment wasn't I the king
Feeling powerful and in control at the time
But if I'd only known how the king would fall
Regret for not knowing the future and how things would turn out
Hey who's to say you know I might have changed it all
Wondering if things could have been different if certain actions were taken
Yes my life is better left to chance
Letting life unfold on its own
I could have missed the pain but I'd of had to miss the dance
The good and bad experiences are part of life and should be embraced

This particular track is all that is good about House Music!
Looking through the comments I realise that we are all a very broad church. Young, old, black, white, whatever. Iβm in my 50βs and from Scotland. Tracks like this were, and still are, the soundtrack to my life!
They make me appreciate all of the beautiful people Iβve met while following this incredible musical movement.
I feel truly blessed.
And to all of the people who have left comments I want you to know that you have impeccable taste and weβd have had an amazing time together back then.
You all make me wanna danceβ¦ πΊ β€π‘πΆ
