Children Of The World
Bee Gees Lyrics

We are children of the world, watching every day go by
Changes my life, changes your life, keeps us all anticipating
We are searchers of the truth, every man's a boy deep down
Gotta say it how you mean it, there ain't no easy way

Like a bird in the wind, like a tree in the storm
Like the breath of a child from the moment he's born
To the very last day when the curtains are drawn
We are children of the world, asking every question why
From arrival to survival, just to make it worth the waiting
We are faces in the night, watching every day go by
Changes my life, changes your life, there ain t no easy way

In the back of your mind there is always a mark
There's a wandering solo alone in the dark
You can keep it forever or tear it apart

We are children of the world, watching every day go by
Changing my life, changing your life, keeps us all anticipating

We are children of the world, watching every day go by
Like a bird in the wind, like a tree in the storm
Like the breath of a child from the moment he's born
Till the very last day when the curtains are drawn
We are children of the world, watching every day go by
Changes my life, changes your life, keeps us all anticipating

We are children of the world, watching every day go by
Changes my life, changes your life, keeps us all anticipating

"FRANKLIN FUENTES" YOUTUBE CHANNEL

as, a very young boy, i bought this album.
rumored, to have been released right after the brothers' gibb had just "SCORED" the "saturday night fever" soundtrack?
at that point, the fever soundtrack was about a yr. & a half, away from being released.
i've also, read that this album was made up from additional songs; unable to fit on the Finalized version of that soundtrack.
that could make allot of sense.
many of "these" songs could have easily, be imagined as potential candidates for songs, meant to have been orig. made for that project.
a great eg...
the uptempo driving cut, "subway", could have easily orig. been made to score tony manero's very frustrated subway ride-scene; in that film.
also, especially, interesting is how many other songs (from this album, speak of that films' subject matter.
still, the very best single song, here, is the title track "CHILDREN OF THE WORLD" (period).

One of their most under rated songs, their harmonies match any of their best in the past

Even after 40 years, it's a song one can keep listening to.

Monday, 23 September 2019: I grew up in the 70's decade and I like almost all songs and groups from the seventies, but the BEE GEES are my all time favorite band including their songs before disco and after disco music. Forget the Beatles, the Bee Gees are the best from England. They lived in Australia, but they are from Manchester, England.

I love it in a Capella! I wished they had kept it that way throughout. Beautiful song.
