The album was produced by Graeme Pleeth and it included singles such as Lo Siento, Boba Niña Nice, Angel, and Vivir, which was also chosen as the main theme song for Corazones al límite, another soap opera she briefly appeared in. There were 4 different versions of the album released: the original version "Belinda", Belinda (Repackage) which featured 1 extra track: No Entiendo featuring Andy & Lucas, Belinda (Enchanced) which featured 2 Remixes and 2 Multimedia Tracks, and Belinda: Edicion Especial which included a CD with 18 tracks and a DVD that contained five videos. The albums titled "Belinda" and "Belinda (Enhanced)" are the only albums that are being sold today. The rest were limited editions. In 2005, she collaborated with the Mexican rock band Moderatto on their single Muriendo Lento which is a cover of one of Timbiriche's songs, a Mexican pop group from the 1980s.
Belinda revealed in a program aired by Televisa, "Bailando por un Sueño" and "Bailando por la Boda de Tus Sueño", that EMI wanted her to spend one week in Los Angeles recording "Utopía 2" her newest album in English which will be released in Europe and North America by EMI International on September 25, 2007. She also appeared as a guest star in Buscando Timbiriche la nueva banda. This new CD included tracks in English and a DVD. Her second album "Utopía" reached #3 on the Mexican Charts and has sold over 180,000 copies.
Belinda was nominated in two categories in the 2007 Latin Grammy Awards which were held on November 8th. Her nominations include 'Song of the Year' for "Bella Traición" and 'Best Female Pop Album' for her hit album, "Utopía." On October 18, 2007, Belinda won two awards, Video of the Year for "Bella Traición" and Best Solo Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards Latinoamerica. Belinda also provided vocals for the remix of "Te Quiero" by DJ Flex.
On August 18, 2009, "Sal De Mi Piel" was released on iTunes.
Her latest telenovela, the edgy "Camaleones," aired in Mexico last year and will likely air stateside this summer. The show's theme song is "Sal de Mi Piel," a track on "Carpe Diem," but the first official single is "Egoista," a duet with rapper Pitbull.
With its high-energy, electro-pop-rock sound that's heavy on the attitude of Pink and Katy Perry, the album solidifies the transition from kiddie act to teen diva that Belinda made with her 2006 EMI Televisa release, "Utopia." The set will receive a March 23 release on Capitol Latin in the United States and on EMI in Mexico and Latin America, and is scheduled for a May release in Europe. Previously Belinda recorded on BMG, then signed with the now-defunct joint-venture label EMI Televisa in 2006.
An English-language version of "Egoista," pairing her with a yet-to-be-determined male artist, is in the works for Europe and the States.
For now, she's working on choreography to match her new sound. "You always have to find your own style, and that's what I've achieved on 'Carpe Diem,'" she says. "There's not another Latin artist that's doing this right now."

See a Little Light
Belinda Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Watch the candles
Burn into the night
Fall into a dream, wake up and everything's the same,
A second older, but alone, just
Like a child
If you just give me a sign, to live and not to die
Then I can see a little light,
I can find a piece of mine,
I don't know where you are, maybe
Near or maybe far, I just need a little light
Here a clock ticking on a 'riding hood have meaning'
If I could find the love like in your eyes
See a million people, everyone's so lonely
But we don't have to be alone tonight
You, you, lalala a you a
If I could see a little light,
If I could find some piece of mine,
If you just give me a sign
I can see a little ligh, I don't know where you are, maybe
Near or maybe far, I just need a little light
Stay alone in my room, every moment passing too soon,
Watch the candles burn into the night
Belinda's song "See a Little Light" is a touching representation of an individual in deep solitude trying to find meaning in life. The first verse shows the singer spending their time alone in their room feeling bored and restless, watching the candles burn as time passes. The second verse shows how the individual feels like they are not progressing and every day is the same. This sense of stagnancy is reflected in the line “A second older, but alone, just like a child.” The chorus is a plea for a sign to keep going, for a light to guide them and help them through their dark hours. It expresses the idea that if there's even the slightest glimmer of hope, it can go a long way to alleviate the loneliness and despair we can feel.
The following stanza seeks to escape one’s loneliness by finding love or someone to connect with. The line “See a million people, everyone’s so lonely” emphasizes that despite the vast number of people around us, loneliness is still pervasive. The use of "Riding hood" in this line is not clear and is open to interpretation. The chorus repeats itself in the latter half of the song, with Belinda earnestly seeking a way out of her isolation. The song concludes with Belinda revealing her longing for companionship, hoping for the light that will show her the way and not let her be alone.

You, you, lalala a you a
This line doesn't convey a significant meaning on its own. Rather, it seems to be a wordless vocalization that adds to the atmosphere of the song.

Belinda
Stay alone in my room
Every moment passing too soon
Watch the candles burn into the night
Fall into a dream
Wake up and everything's the same
A second older but alone just like a child
If you just give me a sign
To live and not to die
Then i could see a little light
I could find some piece of mind
I don't know where you are
Maybe near or maybe far
I just need a little light
Hear a clock ticking
On a life that could have meaning
If i could find the love light in your eyes
See a million people
Everyone's so lonely
But we don't have to be alone tonight
Then i could see a little light

Stay alone in my room, every moment passing too slow,
Observe as velas
Watch the candles
Queime na noite
Burn into the night
Fall into a dream, wake up and everything's the same,
Um segundo mais velho, mas sozinho, apenas
A second older, but alone, just
Como uma criança
Like a child
If you just give me a sign, to live and not to die
Then I can see a little light,
Eu posso encontrar um pedaço meu,
I can find a piece of mine,
Eu não sei onde você está, talvez
I don't know where you are, maybe
Near or maybe far, I just need a little light
Here a clock ticking on a 'riding hood have meaning'
If I could find the love like in your eyes
See a million people, everyone's so lonely
But we don't have to be alone tonight
Você, você, lalala a você a
You, you, lalala a you a
If I could see a little light,
Se eu pudesse encontrar algum pedaço meu,
If I could find some piece of mine,

I can see a little ligh, I don't know where you are, maybe
Near or maybe far, I just need a little light

Stay alone in my room, every moment passing too soon,
Assista as velas queimarem na noite
Watch the candles burn into the night
Milagros Orduna
Stay alone in my room
Every moment passing too soon
Watch the candles burn
Into the night
Fall into a dream
Wake up and everything's the same
A second older, but alone
Just like a child
If you'd just give me a sign
To live and not to die
Then I could see a little light
I could find some peace of mind
I don't know where you are
Maybe near or maybe far
I just need a little light
Hear a clock ticking
On a life that could have meaning
If I could find the love
Light in your eyes
See a million people
Everyone's so lonely
But we don't have to be alone tonight
And I could see a little light
I could find some peace of mind
I don't know where you are
Maybe near or maybe far
I just need a little light
[Interlude]
Ooh - la, la, la
Oh, ooh, ooh - ooh
If I could see a little light
If I could find some peace of mind
If you'd just give me a sign
If I could see a little light
I don't know where you are
Maybe near or maybe far
I just need a little light
I just need a little light
I just need a little light

See a little light ( Letra en español)
Tal vez cercas tal vez lejos
