Be Alright
Belle Histoire Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I have these thoughts, they follow me.
They tell me stories of how I'll be 10 years from now.
Alone at sea.
I don't think I'm in my right mind.
Imagining a life of fun, and all my friends just having fun,
And having my lover right next to me.
I don't think I'm in my right mind.
I can tell that you can tell,
me the things that I will be.
I know someones watching over me,
so it'll all be alright.

Come on, tick tock, tole on those who can't seem to find anyway through living their lives without bringing the whole world down but we must realize that we are all little specs in the sea of walls, hiding ourselves from what we can achieve.

I can tell that you can tell,
me the things that I will be.
I know someones watching over me,
so it'll all be alright.

I can tell that you can tell,
me the things that I will be.
I know someones watching over me,
so it'll all be alright.

It'll all just be alright.
It'll all just be alright.
It'll all just be alright.
It'll all just be alright.
It'll all just be alright.
It'll all just be alright.
It'll all just be alright.
It'll all just be alright.
It'll all just be alright.
It'll all just be alright.
It'll all just be alright.
It'll all just be alright.
(It'll all be alright. x3)

I can tell that you can tell,
me the things that I will be.
I know someones watching over me,
so it'll all be alright.

I can tell that you can tell,
me the things that I will be.

I know someones watching over me,
so it'll all be alright.

Overall Meaning

In Belle Histoire's song "Be Alright," the singer expresses their worries and anxieties about the future. The first verse describes the thoughts that constantly haunt them, telling them stories of a bleak future where they end up alone at sea. The singer recognizes that their imagination may have gotten the best of them, but they can't help but desire a life full of fun and love with their friends and lover. The second verse takes a more optimistic tone, acknowledging that there is hope for a better future. The lyrics encourage listeners to push past their self-imposed limitations and realize their own potential, even though it may seem daunting.

Throughout the song, there is a repeating refrain that highlights the singer's faith that someone is watching over them, and that everything will turn out alright in the end. This faith in a higher power gives them comfort and the strength to face their fears and anxieties about the future.

Overall, "Be Alright" is a hopeful and reassuring anthem for anyone who may be feeling overwhelmed by the uncertainties of life. It acknowledges the challenges ahead but emphasizes the importance of faith, hope, and the belief that things will work out in the end.

I loved you guys from the very start that you began playing. So please, if you get really famous, don't change to be more "mainstream." Stay the way you are, because the way you are, is absolutely freakin' perfect

they are going to change, because thats what bands do. they progress and if they don't, that'll be left in the dust. whether they change for better or for worse is up to them, and their creativity. i believe they have a long road ahead of them and this is just the start of something great.
