Born in Neerpelt to Spanish parents, María Isabel Perez Cerezo discovered her talent at the age of 5. The singer was discovered for her musical talents by her former manager Patrick Renier at a local talent show.
In 1999 she participated in the Belgian preselections of the Eurovision Song Contest and from then on Belle's career in music took off. She started off in pop music but in 2002 changed her style to latino/pop and went live on stage with her own "Baila Perez"-band. The album that came with it was an instant success and remained on the top spot in the Belgian charts for several weeks.
By 2006 her career was at an incredible high. She reached the status of "star" in both Belgium and The Netherlands. Her numerous concerts in both countries sold out in record time. In May 2006 she performed for the first time in the Antwerp Sportpaleis. Later that year, she also took the stage at Heineken Music Hall (Amsterdam).
In the summer of 2006 she released her long awaited new album 'Gotitas de Amor', after having released her fifth and Best Of album at the end of 2005.
2007 and 2008 proved to be equally successful with the Latin Fever tour, once again a sold out concert at the Sportpaleis Antwerp and for the very first time a show at Ahoy Rotterdam. Also, in 2008, the album GIPSY hits the stores.
In 2009 Belle Perez celebrated her 10th anniversary as an artist. Standaard Uitgeverij released her biography, she toured once again with her live band and put out a DVD, all named "DIEZ" (Spanish for TEN).

Belle Perez Lyrics

Amor latino, loque yo vivo
Amor latino, es loque llevo dentro
Amor latino, loque yo siento
En la calle grita el carnaval
Toda la gente bailando va
Batucada, rumba y salsa
Un mar de colores
Este ritmo que lo siento yo
Sabor a limon y azucar
Caipiriña fuerte
Una vida loca
De Casablanca hasta Madrid
Gitana soy toda mi vida
Suena una gitarra
Baila sevillana
Amor latino, mi gente esta bailando
Amor latino, loque yo vivo
Amor latino, es loque llevo dentro
Amor latino, loque yo siento
Esta noche se hace realidad
Corazones que se encontraran
Nuestras mentes para siempre
Estaran unidas
Lo vivimos cada dia mas
Cante, baile y alegria
Este fuego que llevo no
Puedo controlarlo
Una vida loca
De Casablanca hasta Madrid
Gitana soy toda mi vida
Suena una gitarra
Baila sevillana
Amor latino, mi gente esta bailando
Amor latino, loque yo vivo
Amor latino, es loque llevo dentro
Amor latino, loque yo siento
Ho he ho he ho he ho
En la calle grita el carnaval
Ho he ho he ho he ho
Toda la gente bailando va
Ho he ho he ho he ho
Samba bosa un buen reggaeton
Ho he ho he ho he ho
Bombaaaaaaa
