Project started in 2003; After a long composition process they reached their first studio album in the company of Tito and Paco from Molotov, as well as Emanuel del Real from Cafe Tacvba and Tony Peluso, going on sale on December 4, 2006.
At the same time that they were preparing their album, they had several presentations, going to parties and bars both in the Federal District (Mexico) and in cities in the interior of the republic. In this country they have played in venues such as the National Auditorium, the Palacio de los Deportes and the Foro Sol, sharing with musicians of the stature of Fobia, Molotov, The Killers and Franz Ferdinand, in addition to performing twice at the Iberoamecano Festival of Musical Culture "Vive Latino".
The band will present their second material titled ORO (from which the singles 'Vamos Otra Vez' and 'Cárcel' are released) on June 30, with special pre-sales during the Vive Latino '09 Festival on the 27th and 28th of the month.

Horizontes
Bengala Lyrics

Ah-ah, ah-ah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah-ah
Ah-ah-ah
The song "Horizontes" by Bengala tells the story of a journey taken by the singer on a train, leaving behind their past and a loved one. The singer chews on their memories like food as they depart from the station with laden suitcases hopefully towards newer experiences. The idea of growth is prominent, as shown by the repetition of "nace la raíz" (roots are born), indicating a fresh beginning. The lyrics also touch on the importance of living in the moment, as the singer admires the present and dreams of far-off places in a song. The chorus puts a larger, more universal spin on the story by reflecting on the vastness of the horizons, which are filled with stars and planets, and the ebb and flow of time represented by the movements of the sun and moon. The song suggests that the future holds countless possibilities, including new universes, deserts, and more, that we can explore.
The lyrics of this song are filled with metaphors that create a sense of movement and progress. The train is a symbol of change and transition, and the luggage left behind signifies the willingness to let go of the past. The repetition of the line "nace la raíz" (roots are born) reinforces the theme of renewal and growth. The chorus plays with images of celestial bodies to emphasize the vastness of opportunity and the cyclical nature of time. These metaphors come together to paint a picture of a journey towards the unknown, where anything is possible, and the future holds endless potential.
