awkward for you, benassi is actually one of the principal pioneers of the electro house sound. Satisfaction is what is considered the basic "Electro House" track, and is used by many EDM enthusiastists as the "texbook example" of the genre. As for the other DJs you mentioned, they are not house music, but pop music. Pop music isn't a genre in itself as it changes all the time, right now the sound of pop music is extremely catchy and cheesy electro house. This is actually a great track.

I guess, with its happy-sounding melodies, and how it sounds in general, it could be under some kind of Pop-house or something. It still sounds unique enough to not quite be that though, especially since it doesn't have a clap/snare on the down beat. I guess it's just Benny's house. :P

If so..agreed.Chi town house ..at least what I remembered was not this.I was not old enough to travel during those times..a bit before my time..but I am definitely a house head. The beat for me had more bass..drums..and the ability to mix genres of songs. Techno had it's place but history is written on this one with many of those dj's mentioned and others..At the end of the day it was all love on the floor..I
