Live This Life
Big $ Rich Lyrics

Met a man on the street last night said his name was Jesus
Met a man on the street last night
Thought he was crazy till I watched him heal the blind man
I watched him heal the blind man now I see yeah
I'll live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore
Then I will walk yes I will walk with patience through that open door
I have no fear angels follow me where ever I may go
I'll live this live until this life won't let me live here anymore

Met a girl in a chair with wheels but no one else would see here
Met a girl in a chair with wheels
Every one was so afraid to even look down on her
And she just spread her little wings and flew away
I'll live this life until this live won't let me live here anymore
And I will walk yes I will walk with patience though that open door
I have no fear angels follow me where ever I may go
I live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore
Live here anymore

Met a kid on a bridge last night contemplating freedom
Met a kid on a bridge last night
And he said I'm tired of this maddening life and I'm ready to go meet Jesus
I said he's a friend of mine met him just last night it's all right yeah
It's all right yeah
I'll live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore
Then I will walk yes I will walk with patience through that open door
I have no fears angels follow me where ever I may go
I'll live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore
Live here anymore
Met a man on the street last night said his name was Jesus
Met a man on the street last night

Every once in a while, there's a song that stops you dead in your tracks. So we're driving home from school one afternoon in the car listening to my iPod. My dad starts telling me about this song... he played it a few times, and I swear I'd never seen him crying so much to a song like this before. It reminded me of when Miranda first heard "The House That Built Me" in Blake's truck... this is, no doubt, the best song on this album, and thank you, Big & Rich and Martina McBride, for touching people's lives with it!! A powerful song, indeed.

doesn't matter if you believe in god or an afterlife, still the perfect motto to follow and told in a great song with beautiful harmony.

@Stephane Adams God is not religious, Jesus had that conversation many times with the Pharisees. There's only One Way to Heaven & that is though the man Christ Jesus.
We are separated from God through sin. Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Then God made a way for us John 3:16- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
1 John 1:9- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Ephesians 2:8 & 9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Yes Stephane, it's True, God does love everyone(the World) but it's not about us being perfect(because no one is). It's about us accepting the Free Gift of Salvation where Jesus paid our sin debt on the cross of Calvary once & for all.

Stephane Adams

I couldn't agree any more. My family is not very religious. This song is so powerful though.. And I can still relate. It's all about perspective. I've came close to death a few times and I'm not worried that much anymore. If what is out there is nothingness. How would I care? And if there is more. I Know I'm also okay. Because how could God not love a person that is kind and always strives to do their best even if they are not perfect. It's a win win. Hahaha

It does matter because Jesus gave Himself so you can be reconciled to God from your sins. If you don’t believe that, how can you have any salvation from the things of this world?

My mother and sisters would play horse of a different color for churches and death row inmates. I can sing this whole album, I appreciate this music
