Keeps our feet on the ground
It's just something you can't get around
It's just the way it is
But when I'm flying high
Tangled up with you at night
Ain't no doubt in my mind
What makes us spin
Lovers make the world go round
Like nothing else on this Earth
Love keeps our head above the clouds
When the rain is beating down
I can count on you
You can always lean on me
You know we're gonna carry through
'Cause that's what lovers do
Lovers make the world go round
And round and round and round and round
Lovers make the world go round
And round and round and round and round
We get all caught up in
Things that don't mean nothing
Push us both so far
It'll test our faith
So let's pull a little closer
Take the weight off of our shoulders
And remember there's one thing
That'll never change
Lovers make the world go round
Like nothing else on this Earth
Love keeps our head above the clouds
I can count on you
You can always lean on me
I know we're gonna carry through
Cause that's what lovers do
Lovers make the world go round
And round and round and round and round
Lovers make the world go round
And round and round and round and round
Lovers make the world go round
Like nothing else on this Earth
Love keeps our head above the clouds
When the rain is beating down
I can count on you
You can always lean on me
You know we're gonna carry through
'Cause that's what lovers do
Lovers make the world go round
And round and round and round and round
Lovers make the world go round
And round and round and round and round
Lovers make the world go round
And round and round and round and round
Lovers make the world go round
And round and round and round and round
Lovers make the world go round
And round and round and round and round
Lovers make the world go round
And round and round and round and round
The song Gravity by Big & Rich speaks about the power of love and how lovers make the world go round. The opening lines of the song refer to how gravity works - it is a force that keeps us grounded and in touch with the earth. However, when two people are in love, they are able to rise above the mundane and everyday aspects of life, and they are able to appreciate the joy that comes with being in love. The lyrics speak about how love is a force that enables us to fly high and that it is something that makes everything worthwhile.
The song also speaks about the many tests that love can bring. Relationships are not always easy, and there are times when we can be pushed to our limits. However, the song highlights the importance of staying close to one's partner during tough times, and it suggests that when two people are in love, they can overcome anything that comes their way. The lyrics suggest that love is a force that can help us weather the storms of life, and that if we stand together, we can overcome anything.
Overall, the song is a powerful ode to the power of love. It suggests that there is no force in the world that is more powerful than love, and that when two people come together out of love, they can achieve anything. Moreover, it suggests that love is a force that can help us overcome even the toughest obstacles, and that it is something that helps us rise above the mundane aspects of life.
