Thank You!
Thank you so much!
We have come so far!
Yet we have so very far to come...
Prejudice should not exist in this world!
Therefore prejudice, by all means, should not exist, in music-ah!
There is only good, and better!
Our families,
Our best!
Our very best!
We pour out our passions,
Our hearts and our souls!
So that you may become, a little closer,
To the music, that is Big, and Rich!
The lyrics to Big & Rich's song Radio Intro are a powerful message of unity, love, equality, and anti-prejudice. The opening words "Brothers and Sisters" instantly address the audience, establishing a sense of inclusivity and a notion of togetherness. The subsequent "Thank You" indicates gratitude, and the tone of the song is appreciative and hopeful for the future. The statement "We have come so far" acknowledges progress and development but highlights that there is still an extended path ahead.
The song's central premise is that prejudice and discrimination should not have any place in music or the world. The line "Prejudice should not exist in this world! Therefore prejudice, by all means, should not exist in music-ah!" emphasizes the importance of fairness and impartiality. The band's sincerity and willingness to connect with their audience are evident in the lines "So that you may become, a little closer, To the music, that is Big, and Rich!"
