Lovin' Lately
Big & Rich feat. Tim McGraw Lyrics

Somebody asks me where you're at
I don't know what to say, I've tried you everyday
It's been so long since you've called
I'll bet your having a real good time,
But I hate to think of what you're doing tonight,
And who you're holding close I don't really wanna know
Who you've been lovin' lately
Who you've been callin' baby
Who you've been runnin' around in this tell all town
I guess you've finally got the best of me
I guess you thought I'd never see
You know it's so hard to believe how we came down
Like we were nothin' baby, who you been lovin' lately?
I thought that I could trust the way we made love
You made me feel it was something real
Now everything you've said is lying in our bed
Like shattered glass against my back
The way you got me just blows my mind
Didn't care enough to even say goodbye
I'd give anything now if I could stop thinking about
Who you've been lovin' lately
Who you've been callin' baby
Who you've been runnin' around in this tell all town
I guess you've finally got the best of me
I guess you thought I'd never see
You know it's so hard to believe how we came down
Like we were nothin' baby, who you been lovin' lately?
Yeah who you been lovin' lately
I don't wanna know, I've gotta know
I don't wanna know, but I've gotta know
I don't wanna know, I've gotta know
Who you've been lovin' lately
Who you've been callin' baby
Who you've been runnin' around in this tell all town
I guess you've finally got the best of me
I guess you thought I'd never see
You know it's so hard to believe how we came down
Like we were nothin' baby, who you been lovin' lately?
Like we were nothin' baby, who you been lovin' lately?
The song "Lovin' Lately" by Big & Rich feat. Tim McGraw is a heartbreakingly sincere expression of a person who is struggling to deal with the aftermath of a failed relationship. The singer is out with their friends and someone asks them where their ex-partner is. They don't know what to say because it's been so long since they've heard from them. They admit that they still care for their ex and can't help but wonder what they're doing and who they're with. However, they also reveal that they don't really want to know the answer, as it would only cause them more pain.
The lines "I thought that I could trust the way we made love / You made me feel it was something real / Now everything you've said is lying in our bed / Like shattered glass against my back" highlight the trust issues the singer had with their ex-partner. They believed that what they had was real, but their partner betrayed that trust and left them feeling broken and hurt. The chorus repeatedly asks who their ex has been loving lately and who they've been calling baby, suggesting that they've moved on and found someone else to love.
Overall, "Lovin' Lately" is a poignant look at the pain of a break-up and the difficulty of letting go of someone you still care for. The singer's honest and vulnerable portrayal of their emotions is what makes this song so relatable and touching.

@@NERVE-DAMAGE It does subside but you gotta find forgiveness within yourself (within you). Time doesn't heal the wound but your actions will heal the wound. People can go 30+ years over a mistake when they were my age of 19 years old.
Make her regret of ever harming you by self improving yourself by just getting healthy (mentally and physically) and improving yourself.
You gotta provide self-respect to yourself. Don't get hung over a girl because they aren't worth it with the fact that they can be easily replaced.
I have so little experience when comparing to you but I'm improvising of what I went through. Do not let that person defy your life.
That's if you did make a mistake then if you didn't make a mistake.

Two completely different personas,I don’t how they ever hooked up but they are one of the best duets I’ve ever heard.Their voices really mesh together in perfect harmony and they really sound amazing and I hope they go far in their music careers….

Still one of, if not my favorite break up song. “She don’t love you” and “Colder Weather” are both also amazing.
