1) BIGBANG (빅뱅) is a five member hip-hop/pop group from Seoul, South Korea. The group was created by YG Entertainment Inc. through a long audition process which aired on TV as a 10 episode documentary. They made their debut at the YG Family 10th Anniversary Concert on August 19th, 2006.
Big Bang has been labelled as the "Revolutionary Group of Korean Music Wave" for their unique urban-originated music and fashion style. The members' involvement in composing and producing their own music, most notably G-Dragon's, has earned them respect and praise from music industry experts.
During their first year, Big Bang was criticized for being "too short" and "too ugly" for an idol group. Sales from their early hip-hop singles and first studio album BigBang Vol. 1 were disappointing. The group's turning point came with their hit song Lies, which stayed at number one on Korean charts for a record-breaking seven consecutive weeks. Their follow up releases, Hot Issue and Stand Up, furthered their success, spawning hits such as Last Farewell and Haru Haru. From 2007 to 2008, Big Bang received many awards, including "Best Male Group", "Song of the Year", "Artist of the Year", and the Grand Award at the Seoul Music Awards.
From 2009 to 2010, Big Bang expanded their endeavors to Japan, and were voted "the Korean group that Japanese fans wish to see the most". They became the first foreign group awarded to receive the "Best Newcomer" award from the Japan Cable Broadcasting Station and "Best New Artist" at MTV Japan. Amidst their Japanese group promotions, the members branched out to do solo activities. Taeyang, G-Dragon, and Seungri have released solo albums. G-Dragon and T.O.P also collaborated on an album under the sub-unit GD & TOP. Seungri and Daesung have acted in both TV dramas and musicals. T.O.P became a highly acclaimed film / TV drama star. Daesung hosted many of Korea's most popular variety TV shows.
After nearly a two-year hiatus in Korea, Big Bang reunited in 2011 with their successful album Tonight. However, promotions were cut short when multiple members encountered legal issues. In November 2011, representing the Asia-Pacific region, Big Bang emerged as the inaugural "Best Worldwide Act" winner at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards. This was the first time in six months where all five members were seen together. In 2012, Big Bang released their 5th Mini Album Alive in Korea and Japan. They are currently embarking on their first ever World Tour visiting 25 cities in 16 countries.
Fans of Big Bang are known as VIPs. Their official light stick is a signature yellow crown, which reflects Big Bang's title as the Kings.

Do you remember, remember? (x3)
A love gone bad is a crazy thing but how did it catch up to us
(I wish it'd go away)
Sometimes it makes me question myself, what did I get into
(but that's what love'd do)
Cuz I don't even know who you are no more
& I remember when I knew you, even better than you knew yourself
(We both looked out for each other)
For each other yeah
(In this world there was no other)
There was no other no
(What happened to our love that)
Even if nothin changes I just wanna remember ay
*Remember when we fought for each other
(Do you remember)
All we cared about was our love (all we cared about)
Remember when the itty bit mattered
All that what happened to us do you remember
Remember when we fought for each other
(Do you remember)
All we cared about was our love (ooh)
Now I remember (ay)
One thing got in the (way)
Let's go back to the (day)
Do you remember
Do you ever reminisce of how excited you used to be (to see me)
To me the same with you, do you remember
(we couldn't be taken away from each other)
& I would call you & chattin all night
but now it's alright & that just ain't right (no)
We even let anyone & everyone get into our business
We tried to control this oh yeah
(we both looked out for each other)
We looked out for each other
(In our world there was no other)
(what happened to our love that)
Even if nothing changes I just wanna remember ay
Repeat *
Ay yo you use to be my partner, we use to be a team
Now I'm livin in the real while you livin in a dream
You use to be my queen, I use to be your king
You use to go to bath with me & we was livin happily
Now actually, I was on top of the world
& along side with me, at the top was my girl
& our whole change come like Fall to December
Even if nothing changes (Even if nothin changes I just wanna remember)
Repeat *
Ay
Do you remember (x3)
Ay
"Remember" by Big Bang is a poignant reflection on the disintegration of a romantic relationship. The song opens with the repeated question: "Do you remember?" - a rhetorical device that is used to underscore the theme of memory and the desire to hold onto the past. This is followed by the admission that a "love gone bad" can be a disorienting experience, causing one to question everything about themselves and their partner. However, despite the changes that have taken place, the singer still remembers who his partner used to be and the things they shared.
The lyrics then delve into specific memories - instances when the couple "fought for each other" and "cared about nothing but our love." There is an acknowledgment of the fact that the relationship began to falter when outside forces began to interfere, and they were unable to control the narrative. Throughout the song, there is a sense of longing to return to the past, to a time when things were simpler and love was pure. The song ends on a hopeful note, with the plea to "remember" despite the changes that have occurred.
Overall, "Remember" is a poignant reflection on love and memory, and the havoc that time and circumstance can wreak on even the strongest relationships. It is a reminder that, even if a love affair ends on a sour note, the memories can still be cherished and the lessons learned can be carried forward.
