Jaden Hou I went to see him on his world tour recently and he performed this song live right after he made a touching speech about fame not being everything and he was very very real. Never experienced that at a concert before.
It made me like him even more :)
I have just started to get into G Dragon as I am a newbie to K Pop.

Artists are sensitive. He is always emphasizing the point that in this world tour he wants to take off the cloth as G-Dragon, instead, it is Kwon Jiyong standing on the stage and singing his 30-year life for us. I wonder he did like this maybe coz he felt so tired as superstar GD, who is surrounded with various gossips and arguments even though in most of the cases he did not do that but criticized by the "right people". I am feeling so sorry for his recent Japanse Dome tour with his teammates, not hate Bigbang activities, just coz you know, he has not even taken a good rest after his self-world tour....SERIOUSLY HEARTBROKEN for his breathless working schedule.😢

Ikr? I watched the documentary last night and it left me feeling so sad! He's always surrounded by so many people from his staff but he looked so sad and lonely in their midst. And so skinny and tired. Broke my heart that he can't even take a walk outside without having a camera shoved in his face. If his album has more inspiration from the Dante's Divine Comedy than people think (just from the song Divina Comedia) then this could really be a song about how he doesn't really have a guide (like Vergil was to Dante) or even someone at the end of the line waiting for him (similar to how Beatrice was waiting for Dante at the top of Mt. Purgatorio) and that the lonely life of an idol gets to him, and it's not getting better no matter how long he's been doing this.

I'm not very sure but that's how I'm reading this.

i feel like this song is about reaching a dream he had when he was a kid and realizing its consequences now. he's realizing that no matter how rich and famous you are if you feel lonely, money can't definitely do anything. which is sad cause some of us thinks that just because someone's rich he or she is just free from problems. i recently watched his motte documentary, i saw how lonely he is though he's denying it, it shows. i was amazed how he hide his tiredness on stage, he's such an amazing artist. he deserve everything he has and a good break that he is having right now. hope he's happy tho..
