"Who was that guy (chef)?" Well - That was Guru Dan Inosanto, one of a few people to have been certified by Bruce Lee in JKD, a master in Kali, and holder of 4 black belts. He also taught the stick fighting moves for this scene.

I saw this movie years ago and enjoyed it. I would have to say, next to The Animal, this is the funniest Rob Schneider movie. This movie also reminds of another prison movie called Let's Go To Prison. Thanks for sharing this scene with us because it is making me want to watch Big Stan again. Yeah, I actually enjoyed this movie much more than I thought I would. Still, I haven't seen "The Animal" yet!
However, the other night I did watch "War Games" from the 1980's, and really liked it. If you haven't seen it yet, it might be a good one for one of your review videos. ;)

Fun fact: The fight with Bob Sapp was not acting. They just told Rob Schneider to go in there and kick his ass.

People behind the scenes say that Bob was so mad about it he ambushed Rob later at the Craft Services table but sadly got his butt whipped a second time.

True dat. I saw a Japanese TV series where Bob Sapp got his big ____butt kicked by a 4'9" petite delicate Japanese girl cop. In another Japanese exercise commercial which is actually pretty racist too, a young 4"7" delicate Japanese girl whacks Bob Sapp and treats him like a pet slave which is ridiculous. I noticed that Sapp often got owned in a fight by a ridiculously tiny barely 5 foot girl who was 1/10th his size. Never understood Japanese humor. Bob Sapp spent a lot of time in Japan where he was type cast in some incredibly weird roles on commercial Japanese TV.

This movie is actually based on a real estate. Rob Schneider was put in jail following a traffic stop years ago. After years of martial arts training thinking he would try to go that direction as an actor he ended up having a seam occur in the jail he was at, a county prison, pretty much like what we saw here in the movie.

This show was funny as hell. When he tells the prisoners to stop raping each other because they are all handsom men and can find someone to love and respect them if theyre patient i nearly shat myself. Then Randy Courture i think raised his hand and daid what about the rapists and child molesters? I lost it.

An underrated movie. The scenes with Caradine “The Master” were gold. Pity the rainbow mafia complaints meant it was quickly denounced. Laughed my ass off through it all.

Everyone's a critic when they're on the sidelines; and their ass isn't on the line.
Stan gave the guy 3 chances to make a different choice and he failed all three times.
There's a lesson in there somewhere for all of us. When you're getting an outcome you don't want, it's probably time to consider doing something else.

Me too, my friend. That particular part of the movie clip although funny, really resonated with me on a deeper level. Being able to think/reason for one's self is so critical; especially when we're being told to DO as we are instructed by those in power and authority (ie the Covid19 era) and to leave ALL the thinking to them.
