Bigg Redd grew up on the 2500 block of Montgomery Lane in Bossier City, Louisiana. He began his rap career with Bozz City Records in the early 2000s. After realizing his rap potential, he parted ways with Bozz City Records on good terms and joined local upcoming Dj, 3 Feet and local Shreveport rapper Hurricane Chris’s independent label, Go Live Entertainment. During this time with Go Live Entertainment, Bigg Redd has performed at many events touring across the nation with Hurricane Chris sharing the big stage with a cast of national and international recording artist such as; Plies, Lil Boosie, Webbie, Juvenile, Mystikal, and Monica just to name a few. Hill has also shared the stage with Houston natives Lil Flip and Mike Jones.
Bigg Redd appeared on Hurricane Chris's first debut album "51/ 50 Ratchet" song title "Bang" which also featured upcoming Shreveport artist Big Poppa. Bigg Redd is working on his first national release which is scheduled to be released in 2011 under the now signed indie label, Southern Stisles Records. Bigg Redd has appeared at the 2007 Dirty Awards alongside Hurricane Chris and can also be seen on a hand-cam interview from the inside of Mike Jones tour bus.
