Hold on to What You've Got
Bill & Buster Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Look for the silver line
Reach out for better times
Hold on to what you've got
That's good and justified

Don't leave it all behind
Hold on to peace of mind
Lean on to what you've got
That's good and justified

Move on for magrancy
Throw out complacancy
Lean on to what you've got
That's good and justified

Bring out the carpet bar
Bring in the puppet bar
That's straight to what we've got
That's good and justified

Oh, she's gone, the reason why
Evenless to fly the height
Turn on to what you've got
That's good and justified

We must live better lives
Learn how to compromise

Sing songs of what we've got
That's good and justified

Incredible song. I had never heard it until about a week ago. I like it so much that I found and bought a copy. The unusual break in the song reminds me of the song Susan by the Buckinghams that has an unusual break then returns to the melody. Thanks for making this song available.

Prachtig nummer. Stuk jeugdsentiment. Helaas niet op Spotify. Onbegrijpelijk.
