My theory:
Okay so, In "Wish you were gay" It says:
"Ten fingers tearing out my hair
Nine times you never made it there
I ate alone at 7, you were six minutes away." And never mentioned the number 8, but got up to the number 12. So perhaps this was the missing 8.
