ilomilo
Billie Eilish Lyrics
Told you not to worry
But maybe that's a lie
Honey, what's your hurry?
Won't you stay inside?
Remember not to get too close to stars
They're never gonna give you love like ours
Where did you go?
I should know, but it's cold
And I don't wanna be lonely
I can't lose another life
Hurry, I'm worried
The world's a little blurry
Or maybe it's my eyes
The friends I've had to bury
They keep me up at night
Said I couldn't love someone
'Cause I might break
If you're gonna die, not by mistake
So, where did you go?
I should know, but it's cold
And I don't wanna be lonely
So tell me you'll come home
Even if it's just a lie
I tried not to upset you
Let you rescue me the day I met you
I just wanted to protect you
But now I'll never get to
Hurry, I'm worried
Where did you go?
I should know, but it's cold
And I don't wanna be lonely
Was hoping you'd come home
I don't care if it's a lie

One of her biggest fears: ocean
another big fear of her: losing someone she loves
So that’s why she may added ocean to this song, she wants to explain how bad it feels to lose someone. Like a fear explained through another one. Idk if it makes any sense...
And the wild underwater animals just show the darkness, fear, wildness and the unknown,
and perfectly describes the feeling you have when you lose someone.
Just a theory

It is actually my favorite one. The one I share when I mention Billy. I know it is about a game she used to play, but it reminds me of my son who noped out in 2018. Robin my son my lovely angel. Tell me, even if it's just a lie.

Billie inspired me to go all in with my music. She was just like me, an artist without many listeners. Now she’s on top. I believe it will happen for me one day 🖤

Basic opinion: music shouldn't be compared to eachother cause every piece of art is the artists state of mind

I think music itself goes beyond the creator and their mindsets. Music is adopted into our own lives and is a shared experience, highlighting modes of existence and states of mind we all share. This isn’t just for the creator. Therefore I’d make the argument that musical pieces SHOULD be compared because some states of mind are better than others (even while perhaps less common or less practical).
