Billie the Vision & the Dancers got together in Malmö during the recordings of the first album in the spring of 2004. The Singer, Songwriter Lars Lindquists had previous material from a solo project. One person wasn't enough he thought, and had persuaded five more members to join the project. Most of them old friends from his home town Bräkne-Hoby in Blekinge, and on top of that a new friend from Borlänge.
The debut I Was So Unpopular in School and Now They're Giving Me This Beautiful Bicycle released on their own label Love Will Pay the Bills got great reviews in the press and also got nominated at Manifest, the Swedish prize award for records released on indie labels.
2005 saw the release of The World According To Pablo and in 2007 "Where The Ocean Meets My Hand" was released.
"I Used to Wander These Streets" was released on June 4th 2008.

Friday I'm in Love
Billie the Vision & the Dancers Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too
Thursday I don't care about you
It's Friday, I'm in love
Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart
Thursday doesn't even start
Saturday, wait
And Sunday always comes too late
But Friday, never hesitate...
And I don't care if Mondays black
Tuesday, Wednesday - heart attack
Thursday, never looking back
It's Friday, I'm in love
Monday, you can hold your head
Tuesday, Wednesday stay in bed
Thursday - watch the walls instead
It's Friday, I'm in love
Saturday, wait
And Sunday always comes too late
But Friday, never hesitate...
And dressed up to the eyes
It's a wonderful surprise
To see your shoes and your spirits rise
Throwing out your frown
And just smiling at the sound
And as sleek as a sheik
Spinning round and round
Always take a big bite
It's such a gorgeous sight
To see you eat in the middle of the night
You can never get enough
Enough of this stuff
It's Friday, I'm in love
I don't care if Monday's blue
Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too
Thursday I don't care about you
It's Friday, I'm in love
Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart
Thursday doesn't even start
It's Friday I'm in love
“Friday I’m in Love” by Billie the Vision & the Dancers is a song that celebrates the joy and excitement of the end of the week. The lyrics convey a sense of liberation from the monotony of the workweek, and the excitement of the upcoming weekend. The first verse dismisses the preceding days of the week and focuses solely on Friday. The second verse details the increasing levels of weariness meted out by the various weekdays, as a prelude to the relief of Fridays. The chorus repeatedly emphasizes the delight of Fridays, and their superiority and anticipation in comparison to Saturdays and Sundays. The final verse describes the transformation wrought by Fridays, as people dress up and go out, casting off their worries and troubles in the process.
The song was written by Robert Smith, lead singer of The Cure, and was one of their biggest hits. It was released in 1992 as a single and appeared on their album “Wish”. Despite not topping the UK charts initially, it became one of their most successful releases, gaining popularity internationally over time.
