First heard this 30 years ago when I was at sixth form and somebody played it on the stereo in the common room - funniest thing I ever heard. Bought the tape and played it to my Dad and brother and we laughed ourselves stupid. Dad used to play it in the car and he said there were many times when he had to park up and regain his composure. The genius that is Billy Connolly at his absolute best.

we saw him do this at the London Palladium, laughed so much hurt the next day and honestly laughed so hard I couldnt remember what was said. We had front row seats dead centre, took my mum. Best night ever

Had this when it first came out on cassette, I was 16 and found it so funny I couldn't stop playing it. Its the funniest recording of Billy in my opinion. I love the way he flows in and out of topics. The mans a genius.

@barryphillips7327

yes agreed, i think this was his best work, crude 🤣 but so Funny!!🤣

@admiralhaggunenon3435

I vividly recall nearly laughing to death while watching this on TV and recording it on an audio tape deck, no fancy connections back then - speaker to mic!. I then gave the audio tape as a gift to a school friend. He listened to it in their family's car - couldn't make out a word Billy said as my laughs drowned im out. Still laughing as much tonite - thanks for the post

@xtstevie

Brilliant & one of his best !!!!

@JamesEnsor

I heard this about 15 or so years ago because the IT department at my company didn't know how to disable network sharing and someone had this entire album in MP3 on their computer. Loved Connolly ever since. Just doubled over at my desk CRYING from laughter.

@andy179966
