@John Farr that's so amazing, I've recently gotten into MTH and I love all of their albums, and I can't imagine how awesome that would have been to talk to Buffin on the phone about buying an album. Thanks for your answer, I love hearing stories like this. Happy Holidays ☺

Hi Terri, thanks for viewing. Yes I knew Buffin very well. He used to visit me in Herefordshire, and was a nice, gentle soul. On the last occasion I saw him we had an interesting exchange. By then the Alzheimer's was taking hold. We were at a school reunion and my son rang me. He was in at the close down sale of Reddingtons rare records (a wonderful shop in Bhm) He wanted to know if a certain MTH LP was worth buying. I passed the phone to Buffin. A strange and bizarre coincidence. I met Ian a couple of times, and back in the 60s/70s I knew Mick and Verden slightly. Stan Tippins, their then singer was another good guy.
