I had just turned 11 when this song first came out. I can't believe that this song is now 50 years old. It sounds great today as we get close to 2019 as well as it did back in '68!

Billy, we met back in the '80s at Zog's in Camden. I was the DJ spinning and I played "Sally Sayin' Somethin' ". The owner (I forget his name) came at me like a heat-seeking missile - "why did you play that?" Confused, I said "hey, I've played it before..." "Yeah, but he's in the back having dinner!" Then you walked out and said hello, and how much you appreciated DJs still playing your music.
I still have that 45 of "Sally". Gotta dig it out for old times' sake. Thank you again for those Philly classics!!!
