Jingle Bells
Bing Crosby Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
What fun to ride and sing
In a one horse open sleigh

Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tail ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight

Jingle bells, j-jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Bubba-dubba-dup-ruh
Jingle bells, j-j-j-jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tail ring
Making spirits bright
Oh, what fun to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh (oh, we have a lot of fun)
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

My absolute favorite version. I have listen to this since I was a child, on an album on my grandmother’s record player! ❤❤❤❤ I will never tire of this beautiful harmonizing and actual instrument playing. This is truly music at its finest. Thank you for posting this.

Soooo groovy. Bing is my Baba's and I favourite Christmas album. And the fact this might be the first chopped & screwed song ever... The Andrew Sisters were so head of their time. And this fast tempo just made me so happy as a kid, and still does today. Great orchestra. Thanks Bing!
