Bino Rideaux Lyrics

After I, run up that bag I'm through
And these streets don't love me like you
Be a broke nigga, no can do
My lil' baby she too boujee, brand new
I just wanna know what's me plus you
Chop the roof in the C52
I be a broke nigga, no can do
My lil' baby she too boujee, brand new

My lil' baby she too boujee, brand new (brand new)

Young nigga jumped out the porch, I had to grow up
From the bottom this type of nigga that shit mold us
Swear to God I love my dogs, but can't control 'em
If it get dirty around my name, would you ho up?
Would you still be there, if I never had my dough up?
If I was seekin' visitation, would you show up?
If they gon' make it, I'm gon' try to count some mo' up
You can bet you we gon come get it, if you owe us
After I, run up that bag I'ma change
Fuck this rap shit, 'cause I get bags other ways
If you call me then I'ma smash on the way
Bust it on me, I beat your back outta place
I'm deep, but I done had other days
Fuck wit' me you need to try other things
'Cause we the ones, we the vibe and we the wave
Count that money, let it pile in the safe

After I, run up that bag I'm through (oh, oh, oh)
And these streets don't love me like you
Be a broke nigga, no can do
My lil' baby she too boujee, brand new
I just wanna know what's me plus you
Chop the roof in the C52
I be a broke nigga, no can do
My lil' baby she too boujee, brand new

If yo' nigga get up and go getter (ayy)
Want some of your plate, but I brought you the whole dinner
I been heating up in the summer for cold winters
Got me to yourself, now these bitches be so bitter
Yeah, want me to stay home, sorry the wrong nigga
You like to say I miss it, I'm making ya bones shiver (yeah)
I be hella bold, I'm touchin' the soul in ya
Gotta get back on the road, I can't be alone wit' ya
But after I, run up that bag I'ma change
Sunny days, but can you stand in the rain? (Stand in the rain)
I need actions, you know Blxst on the Bay (yeah)
I need good sex, it feel like cash in the bank
You say I never get enough, I know
Gotta stuff it up until it bust out, whoa
You know I'm 'bout a bag, don't play the tough guy role
You blowin' up my line, don't cross that line though

After I, run up that bag I'm through
And these streets don't love me like you
Be a broke nigga, no can do
My lil' baby she too boujee, brand new
I just wanna know what's me plus you
Chop the roof in the C52

I be a broke nigga, no can do
My lil' baby she too boujee, brand new

Overall Meaning

The song "Brand New" by Bino Rideaux is about his desire to be with his lover even after he has made a lot of money. He opens the song by saying that after he runs up the bag, he is through and that the streets don't love him like his lady does. He mentions that he cannot be a broke man anymore, and that his baby is too boujee and brand new. He just wants to know what is him and his lady together and also talks about chopping the roof in the C52. He concludes the opening verse by saying that he cannot be a broke man anymore because his baby is too boujee, brand new.

In the second verse, Bino talks about his past and how he had to grow up quickly. He also acknowledges that he loves his friends, but he cannot control them. He then poses some hypothetical questions to his lover about whether she will still be with him if he never had his money or if he was seeking visitation. Bino then switches to bragging about how he can get money in different ways besides rap. He mentions that if you call him, he will smash on the way and that he will beat your back out of place. The song concludes with Bino stating that after he runs up that bag, he is through and that the streets don't love him like his lady does.
