Take me back to the first time
I long to go back to the moment in my life when I initially discovered and experienced God's love.

I encountered your love
I was fortunate enough to feel and come across God's affection.

Where it was just you and I
At that particular moment, it was only God and I together.

Running through the fields
Happily skipping and frolicking across nature together.

Playing and laughing
Together with God, we embraced joyfulness and mirth.

All my worries
Every anxiety and fear that typically grips me...

All my worries left behind
...was left in the past as I experienced God's love.

Take me back to the garden
I want to return to the place where I was originally created.

Where I was first designed
The place where I was initially crafted according to God's plan.

Where you spoke things to existence
The spot where God spoke the Universe into existence.

And from those words I came alive
As a result of those words, I was brought to life.

The only place where I belong
The garden is the sole place where I fit in and belong.

Where true communion lies
It's in the garden where I feel a sense of oneness and communication with God.

Resting in my father's arms
In the garden, God is my Father, and I feel safe and secure when I am near Him.

As your child I depend on you
I rely on God as His child.

If the earth reflects your glory so will I
As God's creation, I will follow His example and reflect His splendor.

Reflect this one and only truth
I only need to highlight the fact that God loves me.

That you still love me when I fall
God still loves me when I fail and falter.

Or when I rise above them all
Even when I am successful, God still loves me.

Oh yes it's true, my child it's true
It's so true - God really loves me.

He really does love you
God truly loves me.

Where the only thing that I knew
At this specific moment in my life, I only had one thing on my mind.

Was how much I really loved you
I was simply overwhelmed by my love for God.

Where I learned that I could trust just one
I learned that I could trust only God entirely.

With the deepest secrets of my life
I can share even the most confidential things about myself with God.

But be seen as an innocent child
God perceives me to be pure and blameless even while knowing my darkest secrets.

Where I never felt alone
When I am near God, I never feel lonely.

Where the tallest mountain seemed so small
Even the biggest problems or obstacles feel insignificant when I am with God.

Because to you it wasn't there at all
These problems are insignificant to God - He has the power to help me overcome them.

Where I found the empty tomb
In the garden, I discovered the empty tomb.

And from that moment on
After discovering the empty tomb...

The bride was waiting for her groom
...I discovered that the church was waiting for Jesus.

Don't you know our God is everlasting
God is infinite and will remain forever.

Don't you know He's the author of all blessings
Every good thing comes from God, and He is the reason for all blessings.

Don't you know His eye's on you like the sparrow
God is attentive to me and values me no matter how small I may feel.

As my child I still run after you
God is still actively pursuing me as His child.

Even in your valley there's still my empty tomb
Even in the most challenging times, the empty tomb is still symbolic of the hope that Christ provides.

I wanted you for life
God wants me as His loyal follower throughout my lifetime.

So here I am offering yours for mine
God offers His life for mine as a sacrifice.

And I rose up from that grave
Christ triumphantly rose from the dead.

So that you would have a friend through all the pain
Jesus offers me loving companionship even in the most difficult times.

My child it's true, I really do love you
God truly loves me, and it's an undeniable truth.
