I’m just gonna be straight. My strict Italian immigrant parents put me through 9 years of white ass Catholic school (K thru 8th). I was extremely pissed off when I discovered the black gospel church and their music in my teens because I felt that I had missed out. This is the most soul touching music I’ve ever heard in my life. I cried when I heard this the first time. Still do at times… Now in my 40s, I have an entire playlist of various singers and choirs that have uplifted my day when I’m feeling down and out. Thank you for posting this wonderful piece of music! There really is nothing like it! ❤️🔥

I remember at a youngin, after Altar Call, the Sanctuary Choir would get up and suddenly the church would catch on fire! It was a song of affirmation of what was previously prayed about. This song not only reminded me to increase my faith but not to give up or give in. God knows my situation and He is working it out on my behalf. Weeping may endure for a night....BUT JOY!!!
