Faith
Bitter:Sweet Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Everything will work out fine
We'll hold our back
Wait for another sight
I've tasted
Your bittersweet faith
My heart waits for you
I'm taking
Everything I do.. (I do, do, do)
For you
(I do it all for you)
Lay your sweet
Tears have cause my broken dreams
Don't just be
A word about a badass
You'll need more than I'll ever give
I came back to you
I love you
My angel husband
Everything I do.. (I do, do, do)
For you
(I do it all for you)
(Everything...)
Oh, we're moving in the right direction
Word is faith and faith has emerged a shame
Half us was a beauty of perfection
And going on, I want to do is stay
Oh...(I do it all for you)
Oh....
The song "Faith" by Bitter:Sweet is a romantic ballad about a couple's enduring love for each other. The chorus repeats the phrase "Everything I do, I do it all for you" as a declaration of the singer's commitment to their partner. The lyrics also touch upon the idea of perseverance through difficult times, with lines like "No worry grows, everything will work out fine" and "Tears have caused my broken dreams."
The song's overall tone is melancholy and wistful, with a slow tempo and dreamy instrumentation. The singer's voice is soft and emotive, conveying both pain and devotion. The lines "My heart waits for you" and "I came back to you" speak to the idea of separation or distance, but ultimately the singer resolves to stay committed to their partner and do whatever it takes to make the relationship work.
