1) BIX is one of the oldest and famous rock bands in Lithuania. They got together in 1987 in the town of Šiauliai, Lithuania and in a few months became a cult band. After a period of intensive touring throughout Europe and US they were the most experienced Baltic band, and probably the best known in the West. Recording never was a strong side of BIX. They are a 'live' band.

2) Bix (Birgir Sigurdsson) is an Icelandic DJ and musician. He has collaborated with musicians such as Jónsi from Sigur Rós and Daníel Ágúst (ex-member of Gus Gus). He is also known as Dirty-Bix.
