Born to an African American/Indian father and an Italian/Jewish mother, Bizzy Bone started in hip-hop as a founding member of the group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Formed in 1993, this Cleveland-based crew first caught the ear of N.W.A. member Eazy-E.
Their trademark double and triple-time sung/rapped harmonies brought something new to the table at a time when most acts were busy trying to imitate what was featured on Dr. Dre's The Chronic. The unique sound prompted multi-platinum record sales, won them a Grammy, and brought the spotlight to the long-neglected Midwestern hip-hop community.
As a solo performer, Bizzy Bone is well known for his high-speed rhyme style and unique singing abilities. Continually writing and recording around the clock, he released his first solo album in 1998, the personal and introspective Heaven'z Movie. After receiving critical acclaim, Bizzy went on to write and release The Gift in 2001, Alpha and Omega in 2004, and The Beginning and the End, also in 2004, For The Fans vol. 1 and vol. 2 in 2005, The Story, Thugs Revenge, The Midwest Cowboy, and From Your Righteousness in 2006. His latest album Ruthless was released on March 4th 2008.
Bizzy's work has been awarded by numerous respected groups, including an ASCAP Award, the Michael Jackson Soul Train Award, a Blockbuster Award, an American Music Award, and the NAACP - Back To School/Stay in School Youth Rally Award. He has become a member of Hip Hop's elite, collaborating with modern hip-hop legends such as P Diddy, Snoop Dogg, as well as the late Eazy-E, 2Pac, and The Notorious B.I.G..

Try me (try me) tryyyy me (try me, ooooooooh)
And your love, will always be true
Ohh, I need (try me) tryyyy me (try me, ooooooooh)
God'll tell me.. I need you
Try me (try me) tryyyy me (try me, ooooooooh)
And your love, will always be true
Ohh, I need you
But you know if I love unconditional
This the residual, world individual
Indivisible, little old me
Keepin me lonely, no woman to hold me
Where my lady? My lady ain't crazy, my love
My lady is all that I have
Want that below{?}, and what do ya know
This is the path, so narrow the arrow is pointed
At somethin and I just can't do me
It doesn't suit me, just boot me - I'll make it alone
I'll make it with Bone, I'm comin get home
Baby I don't accept clones
'Member the tone, the tone, the hollerin is dumb
Where is she from? She needs to be gone
My word is my bond, your word is your bond
Whatever whatever, bring David this song and I'm gone
[Chorus]
Try me (try me) tryyyy me (try me, ooooooooh)
God'll tell me.. I need you
Try me (try me) tryyyy me (try me, ooooooooh)
And your love, will always be true
Ohh, I need you
What's she doin, my darling, let's get away fast
I give you no money, don't give me no ass
We upper-class players, riders forever
They never will get us so get us remember
Eleven times comin, she's stuntin, she frontin
When you ridin me then ride Ezra, it's nothin
I make him go fuck the flo', you know
Mi casa mi casa now watch, that hoe
Say boy, that ain't no money, this money is money
Johanna, you're so fuckin hungry, it's funny
Messin my body, my ink, back and tummy
Be fastenin, can you run it?
"Try me, you can't buyyyyy me" - [James Brown]
Can't fuck with my book baby
I read the rook for you baby, ha ha ha
[Chorus]
Tell them quit with that foolish, this schoolin is due
Don't mean to be rude, with no attitude
Just the gratitude, latitude, gradually after you
How could I ever be mad at you?
One in their face, with one in their place
What should I taste? Give me a woman, I'm straight
I said one in yo' face, one in yo' place
What should I taste? Give me a woman, I'm straight
[Chorus]
In the beginning of the song, the intro features James Brown's "Try Me" which sets the mood for the rest of the song. The lyrics that follow are a desperate plea from Bizzy Bone for love and companionship. He talks about how he wants a loyal and loving partner to be with him and to give him a sense of belonging. He emphasizes how important it is for him to have someone who is not crazy and loves him just as much as he loves them. He also mentions how he cannot continue being alone and references how narrow his path is. The chorus continues to emphasize his need for someone to be with him and how his love is unconditional. The rest of the song talks about how Bizzy Bone continues to search for love and how he won't settle for anything less than what he desires.
Overall, "I Need You" is a song about a man who is desperate for companionship and love. He talks about his desire for someone who is loyal and will love him just as much as he loves them. The chorus emphasizes his need for this love and how it is a life-depriving need for him. The song has a sad and lonely tone overall, with Bizzy Bone pleading for someone to be with him.
