Thirty-one of her singles have reached the top 40 on pop charts around the world, with 22 top-40 hits in the UK, including the top-10 singles "It's Oh So Quiet", "Army of Me", and "Hyperballad" and the top-20 singles "Play Dead", "Big Time Sensuality", and "Violently Happy". Her accolades and awards include the Order of the Falcon, five BRIT Awards, and 16 Grammy nominations. In 2015, Time named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world. Rolling Stone named her the 60th greatest singer and the 81st greatest songwriter.
Björk starred in the 2000 Lars von Trier film Dancer in the Dark, for which she won the Best Actress Award at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival, and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song for "I've Seen It All". Biophilia was marketed as an interactive app album with its own education program. Björk has also been an advocate for environmental causes in Iceland. A retrospective exhibition dedicated to Björk was held at the New York Museum of Modern Art in 2015.

Blueprint
Björk Lyrics

The dark currents
I find
An accurate copy
A blueprint
Of the pleasure
In me
A secret code carved
Swirling black lilies totally ripe
A secret code carved
He offers
A handshake
Crooked
Five fingers
They form a pattern
Yet to be matched
On the surface simplicity
But the darkest pit in me
It's pagan poetry
Pagan poetry
Morsecoding signals (signals)
They pulsate (wake me up) and wake me up
(pulsate) from my hibernating
On the surface simplicity
Swirling black lilies totally ripe
But the darkest pit in me
It's pagan poetry
Swirling black lilies totally ripe
Pagan poetry
Swirling black lilies totally ripe
....
I love him, I love him
I love him, I love him
I love him, I love him
I love him, I love him
She loves him, she loves him
This time
She loves him, she loves him
I'm gonna keep it to myself
She loves him, she loves him
She loves him, she loves him
This time
I'm gonna keep me all to myself
She loves him, she loves him
And he makes me want to hurt myself again
She loves him, she loves him
She loves him, she loves him
And he makes me want to hurt myself again
The song "Blueprint" by Björk is a mesmerizing and cryptic piece that describes the self-discovery and exploration of a dark, primal desire within the hidden recesses of the human psyche. The lyrics describe the singer pedaling through dark currents, searching for a copy or a blueprint of the pleasure within. Here, the pleasure could be seen as a metaphor for one's true self, their innermost desires and passions.
The swirling black lilies mentioned in the lyrics represent this primal, untamed nature of human emotions. The use of the secret code carved symbolizes the hidden nature of these desires. The author talks about a crooked handshake with five fingers, which forms a pattern yet to be matched. This imbalanced handshake represents the imperfect quest for perfection in life.
The song intensifies towards the end with a pulsating beat and a Morse code-like signal representing waking up from hibernation. The singer loves someone who makes them want to hurt themself again, and they decide to keep their feelings a secret, indicating the intense and conflicting nature of the emotions within the human mind.

Being a Björk fan feels like being the first one awake at a sleepover and you’re waiting for everyone else to wake up
@Hi-lq7xx
I feel the exact opposite. Like you're the only one awake when everyone else has gone to bed late at night.

@rhinoplasty7536
And the fact that Björk produced this shes so sickening good
@chemist6851
Seriously, this is too ahead of its time… the fact she also self produced this is mind blowing, she is truly something else, a musical genius, not even trying to exaggerate
@razony
The thing about music. Time is irrelevant to its effect, influence, vibration on the human spirit.
