Born and raised in Reykjavík, Björk began her music career at the age of 11 and gained international recognition as the lead singer of the alternative rock band the Sugarcubes, by the age of 21. After the Sugarcubes disbanded in 1992, Björk began a solo career. She came to prominence with albums such as Debut (1993), Post (1995), and Homogenic (1997), collaborating with a range of artists and exploring a variety of multimedia projects. Her other albums include Vespertine (2001), Medúlla (2004), Volta (2007), Biophilia (2011), Vulnicura (2015), Utopia (2017) and Fossora (2022).
Several of Björk's albums have reached the top 20 on the US Billboard 200 chart. As of 2015, she had sold more than 20 million records worldwide. Thirty-one of her singles have reached the top 40 on pop charts around the world, with 22 top-40 hits in the UK, including the top-10 singles "It's Oh So Quiet", "Army of Me", and "Hyperballad" and the top-20 singles "Play Dead", "Big Time Sensuality", and "Violently Happy". Her accolades and awards include the Order of the Falcon, five BRIT Awards, and 16 Grammy nominations. In 2015, Time named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world. Rolling Stone named her the 60th greatest singer and the 81st greatest songwriter.
Björk starred in the 2000 Lars von Trier film Dancer in the Dark, for which she won the Best Actress Award at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival, and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song for "I've Seen It All". Biophilia was marketed as an interactive app album with its own education program. Björk has also been an advocate for environmental causes in Iceland. A retrospective exhibition dedicated to Björk was held at the New York Museum of Modern Art in 2015.

Hunter
Björk Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
If travel is searching
And home has been found
I'm not stopping
I'm going hunting
I'm the hunter
I'll bring back the goods
I thought I could organize freedom
How Scandinavian of me
En-cha-le-li
En-cha-le
You sussed it out, didn't you?
Yeah!
You could smell it
So you left me on my own
To complete the mission
Now I'm leaving it all behind
I'm going hunting
I'm the hunter, I'm the hunter
I'm going hunting
I'm the hunter, I'm the hunter
I'm the hunter, I'm the hunter
I'm the hunter
Ooh
Björk's "Hunter" is a reflective song about the journey to self-discovery and the pursuit of enlightenment. The opening lines, "If travel is searching and home has been found," suggest that the singer has already discovered a sense of belonging, yet the lyrics go on to describe a restless desire to continue exploring the world and uncovering new truths. The lyrics "I'm not stopping, I'm going hunting. I'm the hunter, I'll bring back the goods, but I don't know when" are an assertion of the singer's determination to continue searching and learning, even if it means stepping outside their comfort zone.
The reference to Scandinavian culture in the line "How Scandinavian of me" is a nod to the idea of "organized freedom" which Björk once described as a concept of balancing personal autonomy with a communal sense of responsibility. The song also contains the Icelandic phrase "En-cha-le-li, en-cha-le" which translates roughly to "Well, haven't you figured it out?" This phrase is repeated several times throughout the song, serving as a kind of chorus or mantra, and suggests a sense of frustration or impatience on the part of the singer.
The final lines of the song, "Now I'm leaving it all behind, I'm going hunting, I'm the hunter," speak to a willingness to let go of past beliefs or assumptions and embrace the unknown. The repetition of the phrase "I'm the hunter" reinforces the singer's sense of agency and self-determination on this journey of self-discovery.

Canción: Cazador
Para el capítulo 2 de Sins Of The Wreckers
Letra subtitulada por Google 😅
Si el viaje está buscando
Y a casa lo que se ha encontrado
No voy a parar
Voy a cazar
Yo soy el cazador
Traeré la mercancía de vuelta
Pero no sé cuándo
Pensé que podía organizar la libertad
Qué escandinavo de mi parte
(parte islandesa)
Elgar hann bidur eftir mer
(Parte desesperándica)
Hann puede
Lo has dicho, ¿no?
Podías olerlo
Así que me dejaste sola
Para completar la misión
Ahora lo dejo todo atrás
Voy a cazar
Yo soy el cazador
(¡Simplemente no me conocías!)
