Björk Lyrics

She′s a big and pretty mother swinging her handbag back and forth
So joyfully she's drawing circles with her breasts in her jumper.
Give me a big mother, huge and loving one, i can crawl upon a cling to, a large
Woman,
Warm and cuddly wet lady, strong mother.
She′s walking down the street, in front of my window whistling funky tunes in
The ears of my neighbours.
Hot embracing mother, i can crawl upon and cling to you can't be safer can't be
More secure
Than with a breast in each palm, thats the way i was born and thats the way i
Want to die.
Give me a big mother, soft and wet one, that would caress me in all those
Special places.
Where′s a strong mother, one that squeezes me, one i can crawl upon and cling
To?
The lyrics to Björk's song "Mamma" are a celebration of the concept of motherhood and maternal love. Björk sings about a woman walking down the street, who she describes as a "big and pretty mother" with "grace so beautifully carefully." She admires this woman's joyfulness and how she swings her handbag back and forth as she walks. Björk then goes on to express a desire for a mother figure in her own life, one who is "huge and loving" and whom she can "crawl upon and cling to." She describes this ideal mother as being "warm and cuddly," "strong," and "hot embracing."
Throughout the song, Björk emphasizes the importance of physical touch and closeness in the relationship between mother and child. She mentions drawing circles with her breasts in her jumper, and talks about wanting to be able to hold a breast in each palm, stating that "that's the way I was born and that's the way I want to die." These lyrics suggest that for Björk, the experience of being breastfed and held by a loving mother is one of the most important and formative experiences of her life.
Overall, "Mamma" is a deeply emotional and personal song that speaks to the universal human need for love and nurturing. By celebrating the figure of the mother and the role that maternal love plays in shaping who we are, Björk is able to tap into something deeply primal and powerful within her audience.
