He first noticed electronic music in the middle of the 90’s when he heard music from a videogame called Wipeout 2097. With artists such as Future Sound of London, The Prodigy and Orbital the interest grew. A few years later a friend from school introduced Björn to trance/club music. This sounded a lot better and much more interesting than the techno he had heard before. In early 2003 Björn teamed up with a fellow swedish producer for a collab. The track was called Havannah – Havannah’. Havannah was played by top DJ’s like Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Johan Gielen, The Thrillseekers and many others.
After this collaboration Björn continued making his own tunes and few years later he luanched the “Akesson” project which made a big impact on Above & Beyonds radioshow ‘Trance Around The World’.In early 2008 the track ‘Perfect Blue’ was introduced to the world as ‘Tune Of The Week’ by Armin van Buuren on his huge radioshow ‘A State Of Trance’. Both Sunchaser and Perfect Blue was very well recieved by the trance community and appeared on several big compilations mixed by world class DJ’s and released by huge recordcompanies such as Sony BGM, EMI and Ministry Of Sound. This is surely the beginning of a very successful music career for the talented young man.Today you can find Björn on his way out to the clubs all over Europe making his epic DJ appearances. So keep an eye out!

At first when i heard this track, I was like what is this. Then I heard it again and was like hmm you know something about it i find captivating. So at the end of the day its not to bad. I do like the vocals, they really cast a deep contrast to the hard beats...

I disagree. I quite like it actually. It is all chilled and relaxing and then a nice drop and then back to all "float away in a bubble". I still find the drop quite 'trancey' though.

bjorn is a master though i have to agree! listen to johan ekman and you get what i mean bjorn! i mean it does not have to be precise as him, but i do not like the idea of mixing trance with other genres! and yes i like electro house a bit, but when im into trance i want it clean, without any drop or similiarity of house! trance cant be touched and i refuse it getting replaced by that mainstream and overhyped house! not to drag you down or anything bjorn! just dont want to lose a master to house!
