Shades Of Time

Or is it some time that you need
All of the things that you've done
I'm certain that you had your fun
Go out and make it better
You can make it if you try
Try to make it better
Somebody calls in the night
Says he can make things go right
I know there'll soon come a day
Things will start falling your way
I'll try to help if I can
So don't hide your head in the sand, oh no
Why are you feeling so low
You're wondering where will you go
"Shades of time" by Roberto Roena speaks about encouraging someone who has fallen on hard times to not give up hope and to keep pushing forward. The song begins by asking the person what they are currently seeing or if they need more time to figure things out. The lyrics then acknowledge that the person has had fun in the past and should continue to strive for happiness in the present and future.
The chorus offers words of encouragement, reminding the individual that they can make their situation better by trying harder, and that someone is there to support and help them. The second verse introduces a caller who offers hope to turn things around for the person, and acknowledges that soon things will start falling the individual’s way.
The final verse reminds the individual to speak up if they need help and encourages them to not give up. The overall message of the song is about acknowledging difficult times but, also promoting resilience, and believing that things can eventually improve.

Talking about a band hitting the ground running, Santana hit the ground at world class sprint speed. Been saying this for 42 years. Anyone agree?
