His famous name still resonates with the classic sound of rockin’ Seattle grunge, but Peter Cornell (brother to Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and Audioslave) has found his true, edgier musical heart in New York City. Once settled in the Big Apple, Cornell hooked up with bassist/songwriter Keith Mannino (Shadowbox) and got to work on the vibrant, blistering, and emotionally resonant tracks that are the foundation of their groundbreaking new band Black Market Radio. The debut CD ‘Better Than A Killer is out now on Philadelphia based indie label Slugfest Records. The CD features 11 original tracks and one radio edit, showcasing the band’s unique hard rock sound.
Fast becoming a stand out track, ‘Big Stones’ is a great fit at rock radio, specialty rock shows and other select radio outlets around the country. MySpace Total Plays for the track has risen quickly to nearly 65,000.

Lost the edge to sharpen our own tools...
Strap on our excuses and we worship
Them like they're the golden rules...
Genius don't come honestly for martyrs
Or for we the common fools...
In love with our pain and our mind
And live our lives like alibis...
And yet we have the good taste,
No to cry...
We ride love like a bullet train,
Love like that is not supposed to last...
History don't ever change so we reside
Our living in the past...
Hiding our shame in out evolution,
The logical conclusion is to die...
The perfect job, the perfect wife,
The perfect house, the perfect life...
The perfect smile, the perfect car,
We're perfectly unhappy where we are...
The song "Suicide Parlour" by Black Market Radio talks about how individuals tend to hide behind their excuses, portraying a lack of accountability for their actions. People let themselves become disconnected from their personal values and borrow the virtues of others to carry on. The track promotes independent and original thinking rather than succumbing to society's standards or accepting the easy way out.
The lyrics reflect how some people become comfortable in their pain and toxic thoughts, romanticizing them as they cling to them. The song suggests that we should not let our shortcomings and negative feelings get the best of us, giving up on life. Instead, we should focus on ensuring we are content with ourselves and embrace our flaws. The track highlights the importance of making decisions that are truthful to our standards, however difficult they may be.
In conclusion, the track "Suicide Parlour" serves as an eye-opener, reminding individuals to focus on having integrity, self-respect, and acknowledge that pain is a bridge to move forward, not an anchor.

@vmb371
Am I the only one who thinks they don't sound similar at all?
I mean in some notes they have a little bit of lookalike, A LITTLE BIT, but just because it's kinda the same dark tone.
I think he sounds way way more like natew101, the guy that covers grunge songs, he did a tribute song to chris cornell and he also puts that dark tone so he sounds very similar to chris cornell cause he also sings that song in a mix of styles between chris cornell on soundgarden, audioslave and his solo records.
