Have you ever thought about your soul can it be saved?

Is God just a thought within your head or is he a part of you?
Do you view God as a mere concept or as an integral part of your being?

Is Christ just a name that you read in a book when you were in school?
Do you see Jesus Christ as a historical figure you learned about in school, or as a living, divine entity?

When you think about death do you lose your breath or do you keep your cool?
Does the thought of death shake you to your core, or do you remain composed and collected?

Would you like to see the Pope on the end of a rope do you think he's a fool?
Do you hold a grudge or disdain towards religious authority figures like the Pope, or see them as foolish or unnecessary?

Well I have seen the truth, yes I've seen the light and I've changed my ways
I have experienced a revelation or epiphany, and it has caused me to change my beliefs and actions.

And I'll be prepared when you're lonely and scared at the end of our days
I will be ready to comfort and support you when you are frightened and alone at the end of your life.

Could it be you're afraid of what your friends might say
Are you hesitant to express your beliefs because of potential negative reactions from your peers?

If they knew you believe in God above?
If they discovered that you have faith in a higher power?

They should realize before they criticize
They should understand and consider your beliefs before condemning them.

That God is the only way to love
God is the sole source of true and unconditional love.

Is your mind so small that you have to fall in with the pack wherever they run
Do you have such a weak mind that you blindly follow the crowd, regardless of the direction they take?

Will you still sneer when death is near and say they may as well worship the sun?
Even as death approaches, will you continue to mock and deride those who believe in religion, likening it to sun worship?

I think it was true it was people like you that crucified Christ
I believe that people who share your dismissive attitude are responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus.

I think it is sad the opinion you had was the only one voiced
I find it regrettable that your narrow-minded perspective was the only one that was expressed.

Will you be so sure when your day is near, say you don't believe?
Will you maintain your disbelief in God when you are on your deathbed and the end is near?

You had the chance but you turned it down, now you can't retrieve
You had the opportunity to accept God in your life but rejected it, and now it is too late to reverse that decision.

Perhaps you'll think before you say that God is dead and gone
Maybe you will consider your words before declaring that God is nonexistent and irrelevant.

Open your eyes, just realize that he's the one
Open your mind to the possibility that God exists and is the only solution to your troubles.

The only one who can save you now from all this sin and hate
God is the sole entity that can rescue you from the sinful and hateful aspects of life.

Or will you still jeer at all you hear, yes I think it's too late
Will you continue to mock and reject information presented to you, or is it already too late to change your hardened beliefs?
