insanely nostalgic, made me cry a little bit. as i’ve gotten older i’ve drifted from bvb, but i remember crying to savior when i was 13 years old, as cheesy and cliche as it sounds that song saved me many times. i felt so alone, helpless, but i could always ground myself with savior (or carolyn). i wouldn’t be who i am without that song, crying my eyes out when andy broke his ribs, all the old crack complications, making edits, fanpages, all of it. i wish 13 year old me could listen to this, and see me now. the lyrics to this song remind me of how i’ve felt toward this band forever, ive enjoyed growing up with you guys🥺

This. Everything about this I relate to. I remember being 16 just crying alone in my room to Savior playing in my headphones. How alone I felt and this band always felt like family to me. Like someone out there was listening to things i never said. Black Veil Brides were the reason I became a musician in the first place. Their music got me through some of the hardest times of my life. Saviour II is a love letter to all of us. I went to the Denver show at the Oriental Theater the other night and I truly felt connected with everyone in the room. I love these guys, and I love all of you. @Rafael Vazquez Jinxx wrote it back in 2020 when his step dad passed away. He plays his mothers acoustic and his dads violin in the song. And the big stain glass window you see; his step dad made that for the church the family goes to.(jinxx stated all this in a post on Instagram) Its a beautiful song.

I remember being 12 years old listening to bvb feeling alone and hopeless because i was always bullied at every school i went too. The familiarity of the instrumental plus new words that show us how much we mean to the band. I'm having to take a moment in tears to reflect on why BVB is still my single favorite band. The idea of "saving" people with your music, or being a part of someone's life through you art is exactly why I want to do music. I'm so thankful to be a BVB Army member, for now and forever. I absolutely love this song. Even though I haven't been a die hard fan since day 1, growing up around the lyrical masterpieces of Black Veil Brides and other rock bands has truly shaped me to be a better person and a better musician. This song is beautiful and I truly, truly love it.
