We'll fall together
The lyrics to Blackmore's Night's song "All For One" express the importance of unity and support amongst friends. The repetition of the phrases "we'll drink together," "we'll sing together," "we'll fight together," and "we'll fall together" emphasizes the idea of sticking together through all situations, whether they be celebratory or difficult. The use of the phrase "All For One, and One For All" is reminiscent of the famous phrase from Alexandre Dumas' novel The Three Musketeers, further emphasizing the importance of solidarity.
The song carries a message of camaraderie that is particularly important in times of struggle. By promising to be there for one another, the singer reassures their friends that they will always have support, no matter what happens. The use of drinking and singing as examples of shared activities helps to evoke a sense of warmth and togetherness that is further reinforced by the repetition of the refrain. Overall, "All For One" serves as a reminder of the value of friendship and the importance of sticking together through thick and thin.

Been following Ritchie since the mid 1970s! DP, then Rainbow and of course now Blackmore's Night!! Seen him live a few times and actually met him in the late 70s after a Rainbow show. Contrary to what the media says, he was very nice and signed the first Rainbow album for me!! Have it hanging on my wall in my studio!! :) I wish Ritchie and Candace health a thousand more years of making great music!!! :)

The original is a traditionnal breton drinking song « Son Ar Chistr » popularised by french singer Alan Stivell in 1970. The instrumental interlude comes from an italian tune « Schiarazula Marazula ».
@Lightning_Lance
And the lyrics are a translation of a Dutch cover of Son ar christr, named "Wat zullen we drinken" by Bots. That version was also translated into German as "Was wollen wir trinken".
@Chikorita030
@@Lightning_Lance Indeed. When I first heard this Blackmore's Night song, I was like "huh, what the fuck? Are they covering Zeven Dagen Lang by Bots?" I'm Dutch.
