Blackstreet has also collaborated with Jay-Z on his single "The City is Mine". With the help of the Janet Jackson single "Girlfriend", Blackstreet finally had a top ten album with Finally. But personnel shifts wracked the group and contributed to the relative failure of Finally in 1999, and Blackstreet soon broke up. After rumors of legal action and a preemptive countersuit, the group reformed and released Level II in 2003.

I guess it's time for me to go
But we'll meet again
We'll meet again
Over on the other (yeah)
Over on the other show
Time waits on no one
Gotta keep moving on and on
Start on our happy home
We all hate to leave (yeah)
Leave this world behind, yes we do
But we gotta start working, yeah
On our home
I guess it's time for me to leave
I guess it's time for me to go
But oh (we'll meet again)
Yes we will
We'll meet again
I know we will
(We'll meet again)
Yes we will
Over on the other show
(We'll meet again)
Yes we will
Blackstreet sing
We'll meet again
Oh everybody
We'll meet again
Over on the other show
Teddy, Teddy play
Oh, oh yeah
I wanna meet my father
My mother mother
(Keep on playing)
Oh
We'll meet again
I know we will
We'll meet again
Gonna see my Jesus face to face
We'll meet again
Ain't gonna worry about crying no more
Over on the other show
We'll meet again
One day we're gonna meet again
We'll meet again
I know we will, yes we will
We'll meet again
I told my mother I will be there
Over on the other show
Yeah
We'll meet again
Listen, I thought I was lost out of life
We'll meet again
I didn't have to think twice that
That I will be waiting, waiting
We'll meet again
Over on the other show
We'll meet again
We all gotta leave
We'll meet again
We gonna see you there
Common yeah
We'll meet again
I see some of my friends
They are already gone
I just got to be ready
We'll meet again
Oh, I'm ready
We'll be waiting
We'll meet again
Oh
We'll meet again
Over on the other
Over on the other show (show)
Oh yeah
The song "We'll Meet Again" by Blackstreet talks about the inevitability of leaving this world, but the hope of meeting again in the afterlife. The song speaks about how everyone has to say goodbye to this world and move on to the next, but there is a comforting sense that we will meet again. The lyrics are particularly meaningful because they express the idea that death is not the end and that the people whom we have lost still exist in some way in our lives. The lines "I guess it's time for me to leave, I guess it's time for me to go" repeatedly signify that the singer is about to depart, but there is hopeful anticipation for the next chapter of their journey.
The chorus of the song is particularly powerful. It reiterates the theme of the song, emphasizing that we will meet again, and over on the other show. These words suggest that there is a new platform where we can once more see the people we have lost, which is a comforting thought. The lyrics then move on to imagine meeting one's loved ones in heaven, the "other show," and experiencing the joy of this reunion. The song's lyrics have a spiritual tone, communicating that there is something after this life, and in time, we will all join our loved ones again.
