This is really good. :O Long live FFV; the eternally most underrated underdog of the series. :)

I love the feeling of hearing a remix, not realizing what it was until you hear that part and you just fall in love with it and you memories of the game just start coming back to you. Submarines are awesome. >>

Let me start off by saying... YAY! MORE HALC! MORE AWESOME! Very soothing. :D Second... the previous mixes were intended for Part I. Wind, but... Sinking Deeper? At the Brink of the Deep Turquoise? Water-related? I CAN HAS PART II?

Wow this is mind-blowing =D Amazing Relix halc. It got a diferent beat, but it's totally amazing. Congratulations for you great job.

@PurpleXVI Despite it being the somewhat "comic relief" entry into the series, a lot of people don't realize this title had A LOT of tragic moments. A lot of people died in this game, and each death had a significant impact on the progression of the game. You're right, it may not have the character development of FFIV or FFVI, but this game had many memorable moments; a lot more than most Final Fantasies.

I can listen to this forever

@freckleburger Personally my favourites are the two final boss themes against Exdeath, the Book of Sealing, Prelude of Empty Skies and Searching the Light. Battle on the Big Bridge is damn sweet, but it's by no means the only awesome theme that FF5 has to offer. Also while it has less "character" development in the personality sense, I feel like this is good, because in the other FF games it usually just comes across as generic and overwrought.

@PurpleXVI You bring up a great idea. You're also right about one thing; FFV's character development trumps just about all the others' character development (except maybe FFX). The ability to mix and match jobs and abilities made for a truly unique gameplay experience. Not to mention its grossly overlooked soundtrack (the only track everyone knows is Battle on The Big Bridge, but they forget where it originated) which is one of the best in the series. /End rant about my favorite Final Fantasy :)

@freckleburger I've never been a fan of the combat systems in any of the FF games, but FF5 definitely had the most interesting character building. If they could only combine that with some sort of Grandia-ish combat, they could have my money. ALL of my money.

qzwyurrltup

@AirborneMuffins Okay, you haven't actually played Grandia, then. Spells have definite areas that they affect, and if you spread out your party you can sometimes dodge attacks, or other times at least mitigate area-effect spells so they only hit one or two party members instead of the entire group. It's got nothing to do with random dodge chances. Nice troll, son.
