RACE
Bleach Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

You've not seen the white smoke for years
It seems to me you've stripped out
Stripped out all your gears

You know it will whip you a bit
Don't know if you can handle it
But you can taste it, you taste the thrill
Come on come on just one more mile
You can make it if you will

I want to race, I wish you'd race
I want to race you there
Step on out and step on in
To a race that never ends

Drop it out you know it drags you down
Rather turn your head to see a blurry crown
But then you've been here before
It's sounding better, better more and more

Chorus

This thing, the call
Decision based on knowing
You've joined the race
And know it's got you goin'
Bloodstream is pumping
One hundred miles an hour
You're set, to go
You know it's now or not at all

Let's get it started

A correction to your correction, with spoilers from CFYOW.

Grimmjow (along with Nelliel) are described as Vasto Lorde class Arrancars. Simply put, Grimmjow became a Vasto Lorde after his flashback ended (eating a piece of his Fraccion) but before meeting Aizen.

Even years before then (IRL), one of the Databooks (can't recall which one) said "most of the Espada" are Vasto Lorde.

Aaroniero is a Gillian, Yammy is likely an Adjuchas, Szayel is an Adjuchas (formerly a Vasto Lorde...SAFWY is weird), Zommari is unconfirmed either way.

Starrk, Baraggan, Harribel, Nelliel, Ulquiorra, Nnoitra and Grimmjow are all Vasto Lordes.

@Baka Templar Gaming Bankai ichigo in the soul society 💀

Base Ginjo without even absorbing Ichigo’s power was equal to Tsukishima who’s stronger than post timeskip Bankai Byakuya to the point where he could break his zanpakuto with a physical swing and blitz his beyond 2x speed Bankai and relative to Complete Fullbring ichigo who regained all of his powers from FKT

Shikai Ginjo >~ Fullbring Shikai Ichigo, and Bankai Ginjo ~ Fullbring Bankai Ichigo before Ginjo had his mental breakdown. This same Ichigo that while weakened and injured was considered by the Gotei to be able to fight Yhwach when Yama got bodied and actually damaged Yhwach after he stole Yama’s Bankai (meaning his reiatsu scales to Bankai Yama), and absorbed Royd and Yama himself after killing them

And Base Ginjo in the novel (who didn’t get any stronger by the way) was relative to many Sternritter and people like Grimmjow in Base when holding back. When actually trying (in base) he almost one shot Tokinada who’s relative to Base Yoruichi, Base/Shikai Byakuya and Shikai Kyoraku.

And Bankai Ginjo is considered one of the people strong enough to defeat Hikone in a straight up brawl, with Hikone being Soul King tier in terms of power

Which all makes sense since Fullbring and Fullbring Shinigami Ichigo > FKT Ichigo

Databook "Masked" says "most of the Espada" are Vasto Lorde. So at minimum at least 6 Espada are Vasto Lorde.

Grimmjow's flashback is ambiguous. There was obviously some time passing between when he ate pieces of his Fraccion and meeting Aizen, in which he may have become a Vasto Lorde.

There's a panel of a silhouette of Menos Nnoitra standing on a tall rock. And he looks very humanoid.

Szayel was a Vasto Lorde (and Cero Espada) Arrancar in the past, though he willingly regressed to Adjuchas Menos before rejoining the Espada as Octava.

Harribel, Nelliel and Grimmjow are described as Vasto Lorde class Arrancars in CFYOW.

Baraggan and Ulquiorra were Vasto Lorde from the original world before the Original Sin (splitting the world and imprisoning the Soul King).

Starrk is Starrk.

Zommari and Luppi are unknown.

Slight correction. Yumachika actually doesn’t like his zanpakto because it’s kido based and he’s in the 11th division who prefer pure melee zanpakto. So he calls it orange peacock when it’s true name is blue peacock. It doesn’t like orange because in color theory orange is the opposite color of blue.

Edit: It’s called Wisteria Peacock, which is a light purple, and not Orange Peacock. Wisteria is the zanpaktos lease favorite color not orange. I think as a kid I just assumed wisteria was a type of orange because of its relationship to blue. And it’s been so long I didn’t actually think I needed to look it up. It just stood out to me, which with how close I was to the actual reason.

Pickle Ricc

Tell that to the New York Mets 😂

Citrus Jesus

When we get his zanpakuto in the manga revealed to be blue peacock I took it as he was ashamed by its kidou based nature because he only used it when himself and chulhorne were alone

Alistair Kaname

so many misinformation in this video it hurts to watch
