Get Ready
Blenders Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I never met a girl who makes me feel the way that you do
(it's alright)
Whenever I'm asked who makes my dreams real
I say that you do
(you're outta sight)
So fee fi fo fum

Look out baby 'cause here I come
And I'm bringing you a love that's true so get ready
So get ready
I'm gonna try to make love to you so get ready
So get ready here I come
I'm on my way

If you wanna play hide and seek with love let me remind you
(it's alright)
The loving you're gonna miss and the time it takes to find you
(it's outta sight)
So fiddle-lee-dee fiddle-lee-dum

Look out baby 'cause here I come
And I'm bringing you a love that's true so get ready
So get ready
I'm gonna try to make love to you so get ready
So get ready here I come
I'm on my way

All my friends shouldn't want me to I understand it
(be alright)
I hope I'll get to you before they do the way I planned it
(be outta sight)
So twiddle-dee-dee twiddle dee dum

Look out baby 'cause here I come
And I'm bringing you a love that's true so get ready
So get ready
I'm gonna try to make love to you so get ready
So get ready here I come.
I'm on my way.
Get ready 'cause here I come, boy

Get ready 'cause here I come, boy
Get ready 'cause here I come, boy

Overall Meaning

Blender's "Get Ready" is a classic love song that boasts of the singer's intense love for a particular girl. The song's lyrics describe the singer's attraction to the girl to the point where he claims to have never met anyone like her. The girl's presence in his life makes him happy, and he admits that she makes his dreams real. His love is so intense that he is willing to go to great lengths to win her over.

The song's chorus chants "get ready" repeatedly, and the lyrics suggest a sense of urgency as the singer tells his lover to "get ready" for his love. The intention is clear: he is ready to make a move and do whatever it takes to win her heart. By stating that he's "gonna try to make love to you," he's expressing his willingness to take a chance on love.

The lyrics also suggest that the girl he's in love with is not easy to get, but he's determined to win her over. He warns her that if she decides to play hide and seek with love, she'll miss out on his love, which is true and sincere. The singer's tone exudes confidence because he believes his love will eventually win the girl over.

Hi, great video as always. Here's the solution for your "scale" problem.
The reason this happens, is because the scale is in Blender units, not in real world units when exported as a .STL file. And the slicer program can't read these units.
To fix this, go to: Scene Properties; Units; set Unit Scale to "0.001". And when you export, the program will recognize the desire size. By the way, I use the Metric system, and I almost positive this method works with Imperial system. And you should apply scale before exporting.

Other useful tip is a Add-on call "3D-Print Toolbox". It stays along with "Item/Tool/View" menu. Besides other stuffs, you can direct export whatever object is selected.

@naytron210

You can also go into the Viewport Overlays menu at the top-right of the viewport and change the Grid Scale to 0.01: then your grid will show centimeters as well.

@ThisIsStarkinou

Ohhhh that's probably why my 3D printer won't print my models 😯 i'mma try this later, thanks for the solution ❤

GREAT VIDEO, Thank you. FINALLY someone who goes RIGHT TO THE POINT without the overflowing of information. Thank you so much. I am subscribing. Keep the videos small and TO THE POINT !!!!!!

@Ethanol3310

Always had issues with this. Thanks so much Grant for this super helpful tutorial, you read my mind.

@MrKashyr

Maybe prusaslicer can be a better slicer if you do not want to play with printer settings. In my case, I have an Ender 3 V2 and the different default profiles provided by the slicer are excellent

@SeriouslyNotSalty

hello Grant Abbit. I am following your tutorials. and I need something specific that didn't find in your tutorials and I hit a major wall to make my models perfect.
there are a few ways to reroute the edge loops but I wanted to know the best way. when I merge vertices or convert faces I end up having poles. when I rotate edges Cw or CCW it is fine but this method does not always work. would be nice if you make a video specifically for teaching how to reroute ewith a perfect mesh.

@Shiruvan

If you're planning to hollow the parts in chitubox for resin printing, overlaps are still no bueno. fine as it is if you're printing solid tho. also, no reversed face/normals

@MattJonesYT

Prusaslicer is way better than cura IMO. Its defaults work much better whereas with cura it usually takes a half dozen test prints to get the right print

@g0balot

Grant, there should be no reason why you need to re-scale for your slicer. There must be something wrong with your settings somewhere either in Blender or Cura.
