We could use some beer to help pass the time during the lengthy drive ahead

I just wanna drink and have fun with the band
My priority is unwinding and enjoying the company of my fellow musicians

Hang at the venue with my friends
I want to spend time socializing with my companions at the location we'll be playing at

When we arrive we're always two hours late
We usually arrive behind schedule, but those in charge aren't bothered because they believe we'll perform well

But the promoters don't care cause they know we're great
The individuals in charge of promoting our performances aren't worried about us being tardy because they have confidence in our abilities

Then we do a soundcheck and we try to do it quick
We assess the audio and equipment prior to playing and attempt to do it hastily

I'm on a stage more than a hundred miles away
I'll be performing far from home, likely on tour

The last gig on this tour but I still wanna stay
Although this is the tour's final performance, I'd prefer to continue traveling and making appearances

When I think about all the things that we've been through
Reflecting on what we've survived and accomplished together as a group

I know this is the only the only thing I ever wanna do
I'm certain that performing music is the sole pursuit I desire for my foreseeable future

We've got the future in our hands
We have the ability to determine where we'll go and what we'll do next

I would prefer to continue touring and spending time with my bandmates rather than returning home
