This isn't the Stormwind you see in-game if anyone is wondering, this is the one the orcs destroy, the one you see in-game is the new one built by the masons that eventually became the Defias.

Thing is that they fucked up the canon and this IS the stormwind you have in wow because same as with stupid flying Dalaran they didnt care on how it was in the story at the time.

@Digital lordearon I would assume it be big in lore, but look how tiny it is in-game.

HD.

the rebuilt is alot bigger ..remember that refugees from gilneas , stromgarde, lordaeron and darnassus all lives in SW, and dont forget that its the capital of all alliance on Azeroth so it is much bigger than the pre-first war one

The movie is just inspired in WoW, this city was not burned down in the movie, they change a litle bit the things, like, stormwind was ever THE stormwind,

This is straight up some of the coolest movie marketing I've ever seen. And you can tell this was made with a lot of love and detail

I nearly cried with joy and nostalgia as I looked behind the Gryphon to see the forests of Elwynn, the very first zone I experienced in WoW. To see it in such detail was just... amazing... I also barely recognized Stormwind City. It looks nearly NOTHING as it does in the game. It's so big! I find it funny how the harbor in the game is much bigger than it is in the movie (If they go by what the city looks here).

If you look backwards, you can also see RedRidge on the left and Westfall on the right (at least by color). The housing zones are also coloured well: Left is purple for the mage quarter, though I'm not sure what the Dwarf District would be (even though this is Warcraft 1 times we're talking about

This is by far one of the coolest promotional things I've ever seen

This is so great you guys. Very nice touch having the gryphon in the bottom right flying into the same spot as the game :)
