One of the best albums of the period bar none. Roger Bunn what a bloody great bassist (and musician). Jim Mullen is no slouch either and thankfully is still performing.

This is one of those albums that is familiar for its cover art being on many an LP insert advertising the label's other artists in the 60's and 70's. I always loved the title but didn't buy the album (they were expensive, carefully considered purchases at the time), so many thanks for letting me hear it now, at an age when I can better appreciate it.

Great to hear this album again. Glad you published it in the window. It comes from a particular period in British music. Very talented and alternative guys. Just in case anyone out there needs to know, listen to Odd Ditties by Kevin Ayers. Like this fabulous music, it's a beautiful, extraordinary landscape. Whoop!

When did this come out?? 60s 70s hmmm

This is their second best album to my ears from this group. Cover art work on this album is great and better than any other Pete Brown album. Art School has few very great tracks and High Flying Bird is awesome. Not masterpiece but very interesting album and real serious listenable. All in all one of the best UK record.

What is their best album in your opinion.
I’m pretty new to Brown”’s solo work. The first song I heard of his— the name escapes me— was on a Mojo compilation album.
