It began in 2002. Irwin met Ross (both on holiday at the time) at a gay bar in Madrid, Espana known as "El Chute". The two weren't actually gay at the time (or so they'd have you believe), but became fast friends in more ways than one. Irwin had been drumming with bassist Lee Davis since 1996, and Ross, new to the Nashville area, had recently met a singer who we'll call "El Turdingua". Once Irwin and Ross returned from their tour of European clubs, the four got together to make some music. They instantly clicked, and Bloodlogic was born. Bloodlogic rehearsed for a few months, recorded a demo, and played some benefit parties for the mentally challenged. "El Turdingua" left the band shortly after losing his balls in what seemed to be a planned and precisely calculated tractor accident. The remaining members decided not to replace him, and moved forward as a trio.
In the years that followed the band recorded four more demos and played dozens of shows. During that time Davis became involved with a group (guitarists Troy Burridge, Jimmy "Five Packs of Reds" Hodge, and drummer Josh Sharber) known as "Liquid Metal". Davis provided bass on the band's fist demo, but decided not to join as a full time member due to the fact that they sucked. They eventually recruited Irwin to become their singer (he was actually blackmailed), and around the same time were joined by bassist Shaun "Buttrose Buttrose" Landers. Due to a mysterious illness, Shaun left the band after only two shows and was replaced by the 7' 4" dwarf-giant and part time chin wizard, Lee Bateman. Liquid Metal was renamed twice: "Phoenix Effect" and then "Divine Inertia". They recorded a few songs, played several shows, and consumed large quantities of chemicals before dissolving in 2006.
2007: Bloodlogic opened their doors to the drumming enfant terrible Sharber allowing Irwin to focus on vocals (Josh also helps us care for the rabbits, though he has eaten one or two). Soon after, they received word that Landers had been healed by a medicine man in Montana. Shaun joined up and added an additional guitar and the occasional keys. Bloodlogic seemed poised to strike, but unfortunately Davis became disgusted when Irwin and Ross brought animals (not Sharber and Landers, but a sheep and an octopus who now has only five tentacles) into their personal relationship. Lee decided to leave the band to focus on his solo project, JLD (Journey Leading Down, see friends list). Bloodlogic was in need of a bassist, and turned to friend Lee "Little Smug Nuts" Bateman for help. The seven-foot-four-inch-tall dwarf Bateman had grown tired of playing with himself and was more than happy to join. Not only did Lee increase the band's average height, he played a major role in the introduction of Bloodlogic's music to the retirement communities of greater Nashville. Shaun became addicted to PSP in late 2007 and left the band to free up time for his new passion: UMD (thanks a bunch Sony).
In 2008 Bloodlogic welcomed Tim Mena. Mena is a not only a prominent hobosexual (one who chooses to exclusively engage in intercourse with the homeless), but is also an excellent guitarist. Even with the added duties of practicing and performing with Bloodlogic Tim has continued to find time to dominate the hobosexual charts. He has yet to rank lower than third in his district, and remains one of the most sought after draft picks in hobosexual fantasy leagues everywhere.
Bloodlogic is now: Bateman on Bass, Irwin on vocals, Mena on guitar, Ross on guitar/backing vocals, and Sharber on drums. I'm not sure about the lineup, but at least the music is interesting. Some of what you read may not be true, but we heard most of it from you.
Since 2002 Bloodlogic has performed with: age of completion, as it burns, bankside, bleeding through, death by stereo, destroydestroydestroy, the destructions, divine inertia, eden's alley, himsa, the hot rocks, hurts to laugh, labeling deloris, last man on earth, liquid metal, nat love's joy juice and the happy stranger, ready empire, one shot down, phoenix effect, specter, supre X, unclean, veryle turnstyle, and many other great bands whose names have fallen from memory. You'll find several of these bands in our friends section, give them a listen! We've recorded seven demos and have plans to make a full length proper, but until then feel free to create your own using this page and the sites listed to the left. You'll find our most recent recordings on this page. Hope you enjoy.

Você me venceu no meu próprio maldito jogo
Você empurra e empurra e eu estou me afastando
Se afastando de você
Eu dou e eu dou e eu dou e você recebe, dou e você recebe
Sangue Jovem
Sim, ooh ooh ooh
Sangue Jovem
Porque eu preciso disso, sim, eu preciso disso
Todo o tempo
Sim, ooh ooh ooh
Sim, ooh ooh ooh
Sangue Jovem
Porque eu preciso disso, sim, eu preciso disso
Todo o tempo
Sim, ooh ooh ooh
Você empurra e empurra e eu estou me afastando
Se afastando de você
Eu dou e eu dou e eu dou e você recebe, dou e você recebe
Você está correndo e eu estou fugindo
Fugindo de você, de você
Sangue Jovem
Sim, ooh ooh ooh
Sangue Jovem
Porque eu preciso disso, sim, eu preciso disso
Todo o tempo
Sim, ooh ooh ooh
Você empurra e empurra e eu estou me afastando
Se afastando de você
Eu dou e eu dou e eu dou e você recebe, dou e você recebe
Sangue Jovem
