You had my heart, but it wasn’t where he was supposed to be
I loved you hopelessly, why did you fold on me?
When I was your girl, and you were my man
I stuck by your side, when no one was there
All the way to the end, never need be
But instead, feels like you left me for dead
What you said with your mouth, you didn’t show in your actions
And now I’m the one that’s got to deal with the let down and broken promises that you made to me
Chorus:
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
I’ve been searching all over, never did find you
(Never did find you)
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
I’ve been searching all over, never did find you
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
Where you at? Tell me where you at
Where you at? Tell me where you at
Where you at? Tell me where you at
You took control, I wasn’t myself
Had to look in the mirror to find my help
No one’s gonna love me more than I do
Despite all the Wain, I found my way through
See I’m gon’ be happy, yeah I’m gonna smile
I was so confused for a while
So here we go, it’s ’bout the time
I’m moving on, on with my life
Chorus:
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
I’ve been searching all over, never did find you
(Never did find you)
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
I’ve been searching all over, never did find you
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
I know that I can think about yesterday and all the pain you caused
And I will find my true love and I will move on from all this heart ache
Chorus:
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
(Where were you at?)
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
I’ve been searching all over, never did find you
(Never find a girl like me)
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
I’ve been searching all over, never did find you
This an sos, over, tell me where you at
Where you at?
The lyrics of Blu Cantrell's song S.O.S. are about a woman whose heart was broken by a man who she loved hopelessly. The song starts with her feeling like she was drowning and the man wasn't there to save her. She had given him her heart, but he didn't treat it like it was supposed to be treated. She stood by his side until the end, but he left her feeling like she was left for dead. The man said all the right things but didn't follow through with any of his promises.
The chorus talks about her sending out an S.O.S. to the man - wanting to know where he is and why he left her. Despite searching all over, she never finds him. The verses then shift to her finding herself and realizing that she is the only one who can love herself the way she deserves. She takes control of her life and moves on, knowing that she deserves someone who will love her for who she is.
The song is a powerful anthem for anyone who has been left broken-hearted and searching for answers. It shows the strength of a woman who can move on from a bad relationship and find her own happiness. The lyrics are relatable and empowering, making it a popular song among fans of the R&B genre.

WOW!! I have been a fan of Ms Blue Cantrell and I don’t understand why we don’t hear from her anymore, because her voice is authentic and powerful!! Please come back because we need more voices like yours!! I wished that THIS SONG can be played/found on Apple Music, but I guess certain people are afraid of “their” truth being told!! SMH

Really nice. With the right push this will get crazy burn on the radio. Nice lyrics, vocals, and beat. Problem is that you'd have to add some popular rapper on it before any radio station would play it heavy. If that is the case get Nas, Common, or some other rapper with some class, intelligence, and maturity please. I like the song just the way it is, but the industry is what it is now.

When i was a 16 and a senior in high school..i had an opportunity to songwrite for her with RuffRyders in Va..i allowed an abusive relationship to derail that opportunity but several years later..i still am leaning how not to allow distractions..especially relationships detour me...i pray we all learn from our mistakes before too much time passes#;*Be Amazin

You may have another opportunity to use your talent for greatness.
I pray in Jesus name you will find inner strength to find that opportunity.
